  gwen and i went to two meetings (3 actually, but that extra one was a mistake in timing, speach council point 99, i got a "w" on that one.

  we got the two disfellowshipping parts mentioned from the august km on tape.

  i was laughing at the thread talking about the blue smurfs, how demonic they were.

  :) it made me remember other stupid phobias the witnesses had, and how easy rumours were to spead around.

  one for instance, was the false rumour about proctor and gamble, and how their business emblem/ picture/ whatever you call it was demonic, and how it was the sign of the devil, and to stay away from anything to do with that company.

  I think that ingredient you speak of is called lethicin.

  I remember the Proctor and Gamble fiasco also. My mother-in-law threw out everything that had a proctor and gamble logo on it. Probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen. All of this was discusssed on the alt.religion.jehovahs-witness newsgroup. I post over there as Yeah-Right.

  The Last Month - Part 1 of 3

  after the fun time i had at the mi 'fest with everyone that attended, i was sent off to ca and wa to work for a few weeks.

  while in the bay area, i met up with a good friend of mine that i had not seen in over ten years.

  he is married now to a sweet jw 'sis' who is quite a few years younger than him.

  Little did I know that a few phone calls had already been made to certain parents, both his and mine, and that there were going to be a couple elders attending this bowling outing.

  Oh man......

  That's got to be the dirtiest most underhanded setup I've ever heard JW's engage in when it comes to an adult friendship. In any case I probably would've bowled a game or two and as soon as they turn their attention to anything of a JW spiritual nature, politely excuse myself and go my merry way not answering any questions. I surely hope you didn't feel bound to answer any of their questions or that they were owed any explanation.

  in this time a cousin who is a jdub hasn't said boo to me.

  then a couple of weeks ago i get a call from him about a legal matter.

  Seem to me like turnabout is fair play here.

  I'd sit on my signature for ten years, especially if it's gonna open me up to anything that hints of having to do with legal.

  I could care less. Those underpaid janitors have no control over my life and the decisions I make.

  I would draw it out though to show my dub relatives how corrupt thier whole organization is though. And so what if some of them never speak to me and shun me. Except for my mother-in-law, I can't really stand the rest of them anyway.
