hmm,i dont how too start off,but ill try,so im 16 yrs old,im being raised as a jw,and it is hard as hell,sometimes i think,if this is the right religion arent you suppose to be happy??
?well i really cant do anything about that because my parents say no way they will let me go in "the world" nonsense!so im stuck here ,lonely,depressed,and confused,sometimes i wish id die,but i know that wont help nothing.i want out of this org so bad,but i cant do nothing about it.there always telling me dont let satan and the bad asscioates influence you!im sick of that.all my friends well i shold say my ex friends they never helped me,my as they say:worldy friends did.. also i really really like this guy,i know he like me but he is worldy and i wish so badly i could date him,(i hate the term worldy,so stupid)my parents seriously will not give me space and they are stuck up my @ss.please if u have any commets i would sincerly appriciate it:) laura

I can almost guess what your punishment is.....come home straight from school, no outside contact with anybody, and more study and meeting attendance....

my daughters boyfriend was at his moms the other night and the elders just happened to stop by and talk with him.. anyhow, after their discussion about him and my daughter and the baby and what they are going to do, (havent been to meetings in 7 months mind you), her boyfriend told the elders that he no longer wanted to attend meetings and my daughter told them the same.. the elders admitted to them that there is a huge number of people that felt the same way, and the halls are much emptier than they ever were.. hmmm, i wonder why?.

This is not only what I've been hearing , but what I've been seeing also. Most of my in-laws are rabid dubs ready to defent the "truth" to the end but more and more I see them not making meetings and socializing outside JW circles. I also see them more and more participating in "worldly" holidays using the flimsiest of excuses.
There's no escaping the backlash of negative information about the WT for those with the will and courage to see it. The WT is finally reaping what they've sown after years of suppression of freedom of thought and creativity.
my daughter attended a birthday party yesterday.
there were several other teens and two parents present.
i am happy to report that there were no beheadings.
Nevermind the fact that there are a couple of birthdays talked about in the bible celebrated by good Godly people.

one woman i knew..tried to make me feel guilty with letters...saying it was like i stabbed her in the gut.she also gave me, my pictures back,of myself and my daughter.yeh thats a winner.just last year she gave someone i know..pictures i drew back to me, as well ,other pics of my daughter that were hanging around her house.. yeh sure,thats gonna win me over.
one elder stuck his foot in the door & said, No, we need to talk to you now.
I've never had an elder act that brazenly at my home but if one of them tried that with me, I'd probably slam the door hard enough to cut his foot in half.
my mother tells me she doesn't want to explain to my father (who is deceased) when he gets resurrected in the New System, why I am not there to greet him!My wife tried that with me using her grandmother. She knows I loved that woman as if she were my own mother for how she helped us out before we got married when she was pregnant with our son. Her grandmother was a hard-core JW who at the end of her life was betrayed financially by one of her JW children.

I remember in the past when something similar to this happened my wife argued that how can a woman NOT know when she's pregnant. I'm forwarding her this link. I've just got to see how she rationalizes this one.
it seems that no matter how successful i am in life (family, career, social, money, etc...) it doesn't matter to my mother......her comment is always something like "when are you going to do something about the truth".
i get so agrivated that i want to scream!!
i have explained to her that i no longer believe the governing body to be directed by god - she knows i don't believe it is the truth any longer - yet every few months she says "when are you going to do something about your life" - it's like she's talking to a recovering drug addict just coming out of rehab with no job and nowhere to live.....do something about your life..........she just doesn't get it.

just got a call from lady "c" here at work, cnn, abc, cbs, ect trucks are in our subdivision.

The events surrounding JW's stopping around JT's house would probably be more interesting than the catching of those snipers !!!!!
