I'm not interested in anyone's idendity, but if you e-mail me an address I can send you recent WATCHTOWERS & AWAKES in the mail. They might be a few weeks old, but I get extra copies of each quite regularly.

There is a scripture that basically says, 'Out of their own mouths, they condemn themselves' and that is proven by some of the 'stuff' they write in the publications. You don't need 'Apostate' literature, they do it themselves.

So much for helping any 'Prodigal Sons' with the 'truth'! Food only goes to the 'faithful'!

I know you want to help people know the true God and that the AWAKE magazine wants to keep up on current events. One thing people are talking about a lot lately concerns Islam!

I know we have many brothers in Muslim lands but in this country many are not aware of just what they believe and who they are.

Don't you think we should make it clear our position and belief concerning this religion? Looking forward to the article.

congratulation brothers, you rushed a reprint of a article on 'terrorism' so as to srike when the 'iron was hot'!

yes, the subject was on everyone's mind.. i've got another suggestion to help many.

why don't you put an american flag on the next issue of the watchtower and remind all that they should not 'salute' this idol, nor should the national anthem or star spangled banner be sung!.

This will not only remind the brothers not to get wrapped up in 'patriotism' and 'idolatry', but might help many other worldly people to understand what is 'Truth'!

at 4440 braeburn road, san diego, ca., in the rich and prestigious neighborhood of the kensington heights neighborhood sits one of the biggest embarrassments in the long and continuing list of embarrassments the watchtower society has created for itself.. most dubs know nothing about it, and if it wasnt for a few brief comments about it in the proclaimers book in 1993, even fewer dubs would know anything at all about it.. it is the home once known as beth-sarim (pronounced beth-sareeeem), the house of the princes.. it is a house with a history the society has shown by its historical lack of candor, hopes everyone would forget.

in fact, the society has done just about everything it could do to ensure that its history will be forgotten.

in the first book devoted to discussing the history of jehovahs witnesses, this house and its history is not even mentioned.

If the place ever comes up for sale again we all ought to collectively buy it and turn it into an 'ex-JW' museum. I understand the place inside has not hardly changed since it was sold in the late 40's.

The revenue collected from curious visitors would help pay for the joint, and a lot of ex-JW ministries could operate out of it.

We could hire Fred Hall as the curator who would also explain the history of Beth Sarim!

On second thought maybe we ought to 'scrap' the whole idea!

last year on oct 3rd, i was at home with my parents eating dinner.

we of course were not at the meeting .

Congratulations Venice. What were you DF'ed for? They called me one night on the phone and told me THEY were going to disassociate me. When I questioned them on what my sin was, they said: 'Lack of meeting attendance'! Was I relieved, I thought it was something serious!

Ven, buy a bottle of champagne, and celebrate with your parents. E-mail me with the cost and I will pick up the tab!

I understand from old friend of mine that either LIFE or LOOK magazine had an article about Beth Sarim along with pictures sometime in the late 40's. I don't know if that information would be available from the publishers or is on the net anywhere?
