  The Watchtower & Islam?

  the watchtower 'pounded' the catholic church in their publications for years.

  an equally influential religion has been islam, and maybe even more so.

  has the society written anything on them?

  i used to be in charge of arranging public speakers in our congregation and remember making fun of the clergy because many of them 'bought' their sermons that they gave in church.

  i now believe that was a 'myth' for the most part.. however, it didn't occur to me that jw's were no different!

  they got their sermons 'free' from ny.

  Dear Abby, I need advise

  dear abby,.

  i have two brothers and two sisters; one brother is a jehovah's witness circuit overseer, and the other one was just sentenced to death for murder.. my mother died from insanity when i was very young.

  my two sisters are prostitutes, and my father sells narcotics to feed the family.. recently i met a girl who was recently released from a reformatory, where she served time for smothering her illegitimate child; and i want very much to marry her.. my problem is this: if i marry this girl, should i tell her about my brother who is the circuit overseer?.

  Hey, I can't see out!

  i noticed almost all new kingdom halls are without windows, even in neighborhoods that are quite safe and crime free.

  some have said it's because they do not want you looking out and daydreaming.

  others have said it slows down the two day quick build miracles by at least an hour.. my mother may have hit it on the head when she said, "when the time comes it will be easier for them to 'gas' you!".

  Show me the money!

  my wife and i have at different times and different assemblies worked in accounting.

  we noticed a pattern of manipulation of figures to move the brothers to contribute more thinking that the assembly was short the needed cash to take care of expenses even when there was plenty of money!.

  has anyone else out there ever worked in the 'money room' also, and if so, what did you observe?.

  an associated press release appearing in our newspaper a couple of days ago was titled umbilical blood may cure leukemia.

  it said, "blood from cord can create new immune systems for adults with disease.

  " the research was reported in debth in a recent new england journal of medicine.. and the use of blood is not really against god's law!

  Watchtower 'Moles'?

  the cia, israel's mossad, and many other intelligence gathering organizations, plant 'moles' in various places to keep an eye on whats going on (spying).. do you personally believe the society has planted 'moles' in various places?

  do they have people in the media (television, radio, newspapers, and news magazines) do they have infiltrators in ex-jw ministries?

  are they in the post offices watching the mail.

  JW's & The Clergy

  after i left the organization one of the things that surprised me most was the clergy of christendom's view of jehovah's witnesses.

  i thought we were the 'center' of their attention, and they not only hated us, but were afraid of all the things we published about them.. nothing could have been farther from the truth!

  most ministers hardly knew anything about witnesses.

  i got to thinking about the district and circuit overseers that came into my life over the years and now wonder what the outcome of their lives turned out to be.

  do any of you have information on the following..... the spelling may be a little off on some names.. 1. anthony (tony)catanzaro.

  Rainy Days & Monday Mornings

  most normal people i know, and am around look forward to the weekend and nice weather.

  even though i have not been a publisher for many years now, i still assoicate week-ends with taking the group out in service and baby sitting a lot of the kids from the hall.

  what a pleasure monday mornings were when i could go back to work!.
