You start out saying you (JWs) will stamp out apostates. Guess you haven't been to meetings lately because vengence is reserved only for Jehovah. Then you hypocracise yourself and say Jah will destroy us at Armogeddon. I can accept that if I go down you'll be right there with me because you are doing a no-no by using the "evil" internet and associating with apostates. You also openly say you are willing to commit arson, a crime, and you think you still have Jehovah's favor?

If you personally want to physically harm apostates - lets set up a meeting and I'll let you take the first swing. Than I'll beat your ass to a bloody pulp. What do you think "pedophile supporter"? One associated with an organization who aligned themselves with "the scarlet colored wild beast" as a NGO of the UN for ten years?

How does the WTS define "former member"

the wts claims on their web site that they do not shun "former members".

it would be interesting to know exactly how they define "former members".

does anybody else sense that the wts is playing with the lexicon, meaning, of words.

I argue that you can infact leave without problems, being hunted down, or DF/DA. There have been many examples of those who slowly drifted.

I can't remember who started this one very informative thread on his encounter with elders but they spelled it out easy. A former member is someone who left. Once you leave you are no longer bound by their rules because you are no longer a Jehovah's Witness. If anyone shuns you (if you have just left) they are either going against the GB or are proving the GB liars.

It sometimes takes years to leave. The best way is to drift slowly and never givethem any reason to DF you and never DA yourself.

I totally agree with leaving enough room from the car in front of you to react if they brake. In traffic this get's you cut in on a lot but I just deal with that and back off that MORON.

You'd be suprised the shock of people when I brake check 'em in my Porsche. 13" drilled rotors all around compared to drum brakes/possible 8" disk on their front - really gives me an advantage Put in in 3rd, heavy brake, than floor it to avoid gettin rear ended. Yea it's a total dick move but some people have to learn the hard way. My brother doesn't pass up snow plows in snow storms anymore after he ran off the road trying one time.

They think I'd never risk getting hit - wrong! I have insurance and it's leased - so get off my ass! (The best is when their drinking something and it spills all over 'em - though I never do that if there are kids in their car or anyone else in mine). You bet their insurance would drop 'em after that bill (especially because the engine is in the rear on mine as well).

As for speed limits......the only time I speed is on the highway during non-rush hour. IMO 60/65 is a joke when your in the middle of nowhere. Todays cars are more than capable of driving at 80 due to safety, steering, and braking improvements.

TT - who want's to go for a ride?

I forgot to add: If you don't know what the speed rating is on your tires are or don't even know what speed rating IS for tires - you should NEVER drive over 80 MPH.

And for gods sake SUVs and vans ARE NOT CARS - never drive fast in those. (unless you buy the new Porsche SUV )

You'd be surprised (well not really). On the way back from the march from NY to OH.......NJ had a nice stretch of a 4 lane highway. There was not much traffic. I had to drive in the slow lane (far right) at 85 because countless mini-vans and people "thinking they were driving fast" cluttered the left 3 lanes. It was insane! People cruzing at 70 in the second left lane when the far right one was empty! Un-f'n-real!

On a 4 lane highway (non-rush hour non congested) noone but people who REALLY want tickets should EVER be in the left lane. Here's a good rule - if you arent doing 80 or better on a 3 lane highway you have NO business being in the left lane. On a 2 lane highway UNLESS YOU ARE PASSING (and no, that car that is a 1/4 mile in front of you doesn't count) get your god damn ass in the right lane.

Did you know that (correct me if I'm wrong) on the autobond if someone rear-ends you because your slow ass was in the fast lane it's YOUR FAULT because your slow stupid ass should have been in the slow lane. If someone is going faster than you, you MUST yeild (get the hell over).

I posted a response under pet peeves thread. Basically any MORON can obtain a drivers liscence in the US. No skill required, you can be half blind, senile, and semi-retarted.

IF YOU WANT TO BE A BETTER DRIVER FOR YOU AND OTHER PEOPLE ON THE ROAD DO ONE SIMPLE THING!

Take a suplimental driver's training course. I took one sponsered by Audi Car Club of America. I REALLY thought I knew how to drive a car - I was wrong.

Credentials for thinking I knew how to drive a car:

1. I out-ran over a dozen police in cars and on motorcycles (it's a felony now so I don't do that any more).

2. I'm an offensive yet defensive while driving.

3. I owned a newer, well maintained, sports car.

Credentials for REALLY being a good driver:

1. I took a suplimental drivers training course.

Please bear with - some people have never even used their ABS systems. Most have no clue what their car is capable of which is extremely important in panic situations. When I went to the march I couuld have been in 3 serious accidents because of others stupidity (merging into me, not checking their blind spots, and not staying right on a highway when not passing).

Taking a course where you get to actually push the limits of your car, no matter what kind it is (I wouldn't recomend a dump truck) is an invaluable knoledge experience to avoiding an accident and possibly saving your life. Some from the march can verify I'm not bullshitting when I say what type of cars I own. I love to drive yet am frustrated when MORONS get behind the wheel and endanger my life because they are on the phone, have bald, under/over inflated tires, shit falling off their car (for gods sake put a coat hanger on it), and complete obliviousness while behind the wheel.

I also learned that you shouldn't do 130 in your Porsche or 165 on you CBR900RR on the highway from taking that drivers training course. If it worked for some spoiled cocky a-hole like me it will work for you. Most people would spend 100-200 dollars to save their life.

Edited to add: If I ever have kids they will take one of these courses before they are allowed to drive (yes they are that good) Drivers ED is a complete JOKE!

Also: AVOID MINI-VANS and PEOPLE WITH HANDYCAP TAGS LIKE THE PLAGUE! STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THEM! THEY WILL GET YOU INTO AN ACCIDENT!

After reading this letter...I'm printing it out and tommorow am going to MAKE my parents read it out loud to me. Even if it's some farse (I know it's not) the points are TOO VALID to discredit.

I ask that if anyone can provide some "official copy" of this letter and of the Fred Franz testomy, I'm talking noterized - whatever. Contact me via e-mail and I will gladly pay to obtain "official copies" of this letter and the court procedings of Fred Franz. I won't rest until I convince my family that they need to speak up for God's and children's sake.

Silentlambs - Bill,.is there anyway I can get some official copy of this letter. You know how die hard R&F are and will only accept "official documents".

I am so glad I got to shake Bill's, Joe's, and Barbara's hand at the march in NY - I was there for support - but just as I HAD to see "ground zero" - shaking their hands made my heart rejoice.

YouKnow - Your post was amazing. I never thought I would hear something like that out of you. What will it take for a "true believer/s" to take a stand and try to force changes? Or are the secular authorties going to have to do it? If you truely believe than help make changes, PLEASE!
