  we have been told there's no place else to go.

  and to some degree mentally speaking, that is true especially if you were raised in the religion.

  i know you might think i'm exaggerating but if you really think about it, maybe i'm not.

  these two religions originate with the same ancient belief system.

  islam is a dangerous middle eastern cult that seeks to control every aspect of its members' lives.

  They could work at it, improve a little at a time....LOL!!.

  The WBT$ will never be an Islam.

  They`re so small, local authorities would shut them down pretty quick.

  Convention In The News "...all questions regarding Jehovah's Witnesses are welcome"

  this weekend thousands of people are gathering at the scheels arena in celebration of their faith.. jehovah's witnesses from around the world are assembling for the "don't give up" convention.. .

  the morning starts with a music presentation and then continues on through the day with prayer, song, and speeches.. the theme centers around supporting each other and including everyone in the good will.. everyone is invited and all questions regarding jehovah's witnesses are welcome.. really?

  Cart Witnesses Today - I am not impressed

  just approached a cart then with two jw girls holding out mags.

  they continued chatting to each other about car insurance when i took the watchtower from one of their hands.. ok, so it looks like i'll have to get the ball rolling.

  i asked if they were jehovahs witness.

  Why, it's almost as if they didn't want to do the ministry and it was a compulsion.

  Any active JW who thinks WBT$/JW ministry is voluntary.

  Should try stopping "cold turkey"......A shepherding visit won`t be far away.

  chasing me for a report

  i'm fairly new on here and i've told a lot of my story but to recap, after 60 odd years i've stopped going to the meetings.

  my husband had already left the truth years ago and my children didn't become jws.(phew!).

  i had a horrendous childhood growing up as a witness which included sexual assault by a close relative, also a jw.

  He`s a typical JW "Girly Man", a huge reason why the WBT$ Succeeds.

  wow, wow, it appears on about the 50:00 minute mark and it shows the kingdom at hand publication and many old school awake issues.

  it shows also many many la la land moments where the actors sing to the lyrics.

  i know they been doing this for last few months.

  he ran into me a work and asked could he come , i said only if you're by yourself and don't wear company garb.

  3 hours later and i might as well talked to myself.

  i used every illustration and persuasive argument.
