  I know intelligent people (non-JW`s) who are well educated, hold down responsible jobs and make good money.

  Unfortunately...

  Outside of their area of expertise, they are absolutely clueless.

  Too dumb to see it`s a con game.
  

  2) Lazy:

  You get instant friends, who wouldn`t care about you other wise.

  Someone else provides structure in your life.
  

  3) Selfish:

  Power and authority you wouldn't have in the real world.

  No end of business contacts.....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

  the year is 1983. .

  two new james bond films are slated for release, one of which will star the one, the only, sean connery, while the other one sports jolly roger moore.. never say never again vs octopussy, and i am one of the original james bond fanatics--so, how can i possibly miss out on the opportunity to attend the world premiere of connery’s flick?

  so, i've been away from any meetings of the jobos for around 5 years.

  i'm glad i'm out but the fallout and loss damn near destroyed me.

  but, being a stiff upper lip brit, i 'kbo.
