  When did this "written review" idea get started?

  for some reason, i simply cannot remember any written review being done and graded in all my jw time (1962 to about 1980).. have i completely forgotten this, or did it get started after i had left?.

  Help requested for court case

  i am looking for court cases and news reports on underage children being denied blood transfusions and as a result either having the court intervene or death.

  any report especially 2008-2011 will work very well.. also any jw publication that says jw's die rather than accepting blood.

  also any jw publication that encourages this practice in regards children especially official documents and recent publications (2005-2011 or whenever the last doctrinal change was).. .

  JW Cable TV Installer Counts His Time.. Home owner very pissed off !

  the directv guy came by today to install our new dvr.

  a pretty simple install as i already installed the telephone line, and the amp/switch box is about 5 feet below where the extra line needs to run.. .

  so all the installer needs to do is give us the new dvr receiver, run one coax line, plug it all in and leave.. .

  I only use JWN in chromes "incognito" feature.

  BTW what is the word on Tablet computers? Are they the devils tool? No Ipads allowed?

  ....to be an apostate is just as terrible a thing to the wtbs as being a witch or a sorcerer.. .

  if the wtbs could legally get away with it, they would literally behead or stone to death all of us just like in mideaval times.. how i know so.

  just monday this week a saudi arabian woman was beheaded on charges of being a witch ( they found a book on sorcery and some vials of "healing potions") as she claimed to be a healer.. philip luther, interin direct of amnesty international, said "charges of witchcraft and sorcery are not defined as crimes in saudi arabia".

  The question is not whether the Society would or would not, but whether the faithful sheep would follow through. I agree that they would. But I also cannot fathom it actually happening.

  Yes I imagine JW's would not even let their dog get a blood transfusion if it needed it. After all if the dog got a blood transfusion it would not be clean for the paradise!

  Next time I am at my the vet I will ask if my dog can donate blood to help others.

  this past mon.

  i had to have a hysterectomy and some other repairs.

  i told the doc that since i'm going under anyway, if you see something that needs fixing, do it....and he went to town!

  Starting to read Crisis of Conscience....

  after almost 2 years of being wrongfully disfellowshipped and over a year after finding this site....i am starting to read crisis of conscience.

  i will not lie....i am a bit nervous as to what information i will find in the book.

  i have a strong feeling that i will end up crying through most of it as i will start to see the truth about the "truth".

  I just finished last night. Its much more than I could have ever imagined. It took me a month and a half to get throught the first hundred pages and only 3 days to get through the rest of it.

  EVERYONE who has ever heard of JW's in ANY way needs to read this book.
