  LOL... Now I know yah'll will hate me for getting scientific BUT even bi-sexuality may be genetic...yup!

  In the 2003 book Nature Via Nurture written by Matt Ridley discusses (among other animal sexuality) the bonobo (similar to chimpanzees) of the south Congo River area (21-23). He calls the bonobo a sisterhood because the females band together and are generally dominant in their society which otherwise looks like any chimps home range and lifestyle.

  What binds this sisterhood? Sex! "the bond between two female best friends is cemented by frequent and intense bouts of "hoka hoka", which scientists unromantically translate as genitogenital rubbing." (22)

  the latest wt magazine starts out by quoting a catholic cardinal:

  just as there is one christ, so there exists a single body of christ, a single bride of christ: 'a single catholic and apostolic church.

  ........although pope john paul ii insisted that the document dominus iesus contained "no arrogance towards, or disrespect for other religions", protestant church leaders reacted strongly to it.........in june 2001, one minister said that the document was the work of "a powerful faction in the roman catholic church....scared silly by the spirit of openness introduced by vatican ii".........it appears that the....catholic curia was disturbed by what has been called religious relativism........[which is] the emergence of a pluralist theology----saying basically that one religion is as good as another...... what then, is the right view?

  First, the Catholic Church was NOT the first Christian church. Mary you'll learn this in college. Or get a head start and read some of Elaine Pagels work. Adam, Eve, and the Serpent, The Gnostic Gospels, Beyond Belief. Or try Carl Sagan's The Demon Haunted World.

  Second, the protestant churches also persecuted and murdered and tortured those who would not convert. Anyone remember Cromwellian England? If you were Catholic and not murdered (burnt alive) then Cromwell's men sliced off you nose and ears. Michael Jackson would appreciate this --- so many aristocrats (mostly women because their husbands were murdered) lost their noses that a fashion of fake noses began! Yeah really!

  Or even better how about the British Empire under Queen Victoria and the sub- continent of India remember the black whole where the "heathen" were slaughtered because they were well, heathen?

  Third, Or (not to pick on the Brits alone) how about those Pilgrims (Puritans --- hmmm wonder why they called themselves pure? Because they new they had the one pure faith?) who came to America for religious freedom and proceeded to murder anyone who questioned the "brothers". Those witch trials were a copy cat serial killing from the dark ages. Also, let's take this up a knotch to the 1960's in the southern states where more than one Catholic priest was lynched by YES I'm gonna say it even though I live in the south --- Baptists (weren't they originally Dutch?).

  And again if you think that Catholics were the only converter/murderers; consider the Islamic potentates who occupied Spain and converted not only people (killed the men, raped the women) but churches too (Muslims did this to the Eastern churches too ex., the Hagia Sophia and the Alahambra in Spain.)

  The French revolutionaries (Marat Sade, Robespierre, Danton and you know the rest) ordered the killings of the Catholic priests during their revolution.

  In Asia, including the islands of the Pacific many Protestant missionaries were killed by local shaman of tribal religions. This also happened in Tibet by the Lamaist Buddhists (Yeah, these guys aren't all peace and love).

  Come to think of it, the Israelites killed, maimed, raped, burned, conquered any nation who would fight them and some who wouldn't.

  what a load of rubbish.

  what's with the rule that says that ladies have to wear a skirt/dress to all meetings/service etc.?

  jesus wore a dress, does that mean that the men have to as well?

  Pioneering in EauClaire, WI we wore pants in service and to meetings. We were out in service in minus degree temps and we weren't supposed to wear snow pants (unprofessional) . I like dresses and skirts, but I confess I wear jeans or shorts most days.

  how would you like to be a member of first christian fellowship for eternal sovereignty?

  ravenna, ohio - a woman pulled over for breast-feeding her baby while driving on the ohio turnpike was shown on videotape at her trial wednesday refusing to cooperate with troopers until she called her husband for permission.. catherine nicole donkers, 29, also would not stand or speak as she defended herself in portage county municipal court until her husband gave her permission from the first row of the audience.. the first day ended with donkers finishing her questioning of the trooper.

  ARRRGGGHHH Where was this womann raised? How could she endanger her child in this way? Why not pull over and nurse the baby. I mean the way she did this she may as well bottle feed OR are breast pumps against her religion? Is child safety against her religion? Oh I see a patriarchal religion.. men are better and smarter than women ...

  So no SS#? yet he's working? HMMM breaking somemore laws because it is convenient for him, arshole So if I feel like shooting these people (even though it's against the law) if my religion allows it then it's okay.

  If Mrs.Arshole had gotten in an accident and the baby died (oh I'm being stupid, she'd just breed again. )

  I like my old SUV and plan to get a concealed weapon permit (as soon as I can afford the concealed weapon because you can't conceal a shotgun). The tax $$$ is fradulently acquired so I think we should just abolish the IRS and have the politicians use their own $$$ to fund the programs that they push into law.

  Abbabdon, I am happy that you clarified that you think SaddamHussein is a "bad guy." So maybe there are a few more facts you will agree with ---

  Let's see ---

  1) the UN voted on 1441 and it passed. If you think that the nations who voted for this and later said "oh, but we had no idea that the Brits and Americans would go this far." Are liars.

  1a)Just like the Greeks who only disagreed in order to blackmail the US into giving them more cash FOR AIDING THEM. Now the Greeks are an ancient culture who commonly received gold and goods for NOT attacking other medditerranean nations (or city states way back when). So blackmail has a long and classiacal tradition. But I guess that's way way too ancient history for you?

  1b) Or how about the French and Russians who were correctly nervous that their back roads to getting Iraqi oil and/or cash would be found out.

  1c) Or the Syrians who nervously watched their border NOT because of fear of US military but because they hoped to grab some cash from fleeing Iraqi leaders.

  1d) and if 1 year ago is too ancient of a UN history to be applied , then you need to re-read Santayana's famous quote, if you don't know about Santayana then you will do some of your own research.

  2) Proof of WMD had been filmed --- the Kurds rememeber , were gased and died tortuous deaths --- nerve gases are WMD okay --- so there were obviously WMD okay --- is there really any question that nerve gas are WMD?

  2a) Do you need proof of the point of origin of the man- made gas? If it wasn't made in Iraq then maybe it was produced in HMMMMMM ---France --- I've been thinking we should invade France anyway, you know how we Americans are so uppity about taking control of this crazy mad world, so why not?

  Ebony magazine had an article in Apr or May 2003 discussing the Williams women. Venus and Serena have 3 (I think) other sisters. Earlier this year the parents divorced and the Dad "King Richard" no longer attends the tennis tournaments. According to Mom the divorce was all friendly and amicable???? No divorce is friendly and amicable... or am I just a cynic. Venus and Serena (when askeed about celebrating Mothers Day) said it's just like any other day, they always honor their Mom (which is probably true). In this article there was no talk about field service so maybe they are inactive --- one can always hope that these intelligent young women will continue to grow and learn.

  I didn't read the Discovery article. However a new publication titled Nature Via Nurture by a geneticist named Ridley discusses that very human genome project.

  Besides our Great Ape cousins the chimpanzees the project showed that the DNA of all life on earth is related. I believe the same author wrote The Red Queen and The Genome.

  Another astounding discovery in human DNA was that instead of the expected >100,000 genes we only have about 30,000. Quite a difference when you consider that with this information many of our genes must perform multitasking depending on their placement. This is a whole new can of worms and it's pretty exciting.

  Another book written before the completion of the human genome project is titled the Blind Watchmaker by Dawkins. Another great read is the Selfish Gene.

  Today the gene projects are increasing. I hope that now we see that everything living has the same basic DNA in varied configurations and quantities maybe we'll begin to look a our planet as something worth saving, What do you think?

  Blondie, I relish your commentary. You have so many interesting ideas and I look forward to reading your posts. I Da'd in '97 and I still read your posts and others. Sometimes maybe just as a relief to know more and more dubs are beginning to think, you know use that muscle between their ears, unlike the writing department at WTS! Yeeks, would any dub believe that those HS inspired articles are the lazy mans cut and paste work? Probably not. And I would never have noticed until you mentioned using the cd. So I not only appreciate your comments but also your sources. Thanx
