i am stunned.. with all the effort to try and make the issue of abuse known through silentlambs.
the hundreds of accounts given by victims explaining the foundation of why watchtower policy hurts children.
the lawsuits now being enacted to make watchtower compensate those injured by their policy.

Thanks for the critique on that vapid, biased, cruel article. The pablum they dish out SEEMS innocuous, but as you demonstrated, is cruel and leads to women and children being victimized.

So sorry you're having a tough time now. Believe me, it does get better. How long have you been out? I left 6 months ago and it's now starting to feel perfectly normal. The JWs leave me alone because i have health problems and used that as my 'cover.' So, that makes it easier.
It's unfair that I STILL can't hang a flag or have an Xmas tree because of the JWs that live in my area. Oh well, there's always a price to pay.
I hope you get more comfortable with your newfound freedom--don't forget to ENJOY it!

if the rank and file members of jehovahs witnesses reject the watchtower's thinking on bible doctrine in some way, they are considered apostate.. yet the governing body of j.ws, themselves have rejected teachings of previous governing body members who have long since died and have proceeded to change interpreatation on things many times over,from russell to fred franz.

is evolution a fact or a theory?.
i suppose it depends on what you mean.. evolution in the sense of change from one generation to the next seams to be fact.. is well observed that offspring from a given creature will differ from the parent in different ways and thus after many generation can come to be quite different.. also that the genes of a creature can be affected by radiation from the sun and be alter in a novel way producing new and unique features in its offspring ( as long as the mutation is in the sperm or the egg).. that we came about via changes in the genes that eventually created a very different creature than that existed many generations ago , is that a fact?.
this requires that not only that there are changes between generation but also that these changes could be directed by different environments to such a degree that only certain specialised features could survive and reproduce offspring whilst other creatures have died out and only remain in fossilised form.. what evidence is there that such environments can and have existed?
