If he were to say that politics was not a factor in his present series of attacks on NGO's, I'd say that was "total nonsense."
i cant think of any of their doctrines that could be supported if they didnt deliberately alter the scriptures.
even their teaching of god creating the earth is flawed when one considers what they believe about god.. of the top of my head i cant think of anything that i still believe that was taught me by the watchtower...can you?.

i got home from the dayton hospital after a heart cathertization/angioplasty, and while there the semigood control i had over my blood sugar went through the roof.. .
hospitals use what they call a "sliding scale" as far as how much insulin they'll give.
that's bad enough, but add to it the fact that they test you after you've eaten (i'm used to testing/dosing myself up to a half-hour before a meal when i can).

Not being a nurse I don't know the time demands on them and so you may well be right. Unless I speak up it'll get brushed off. My wife was there but maybe we both assumed mentioning it once was enough. I'm sure I'll be in for another "visit" someday so I'll be better prepared next time.

what were some of the first things that happened or were said, that made you to start doubting it and beginning the loss of your loyalty to the organization ??????.
Unlike many who were "stumbled" as the JW's would say by doctrinal issues, the thing that first gave me a galling shock was hearing a racial slur from one of the elders.
Then, expressing private misgivings about how another elder's daughter dressed, hearing a story about her that wasn't exactly flattering, AND being told others had mentioned the same concern I had, with no changes in her dress.
The gradual change in the blood issue set off warning bells--the "there's something about this that bothers me but I just can't put my finger on what it is" type of discomfort.
Even after all that I still (as did others) thought that they had it mostly right. Then I came here, having been told about Freeminds in chat, and my faith was like a crippled ship taking repeated torpedo hits.

What really gets me is: if my hometown docs have prescribed certain meds---why the $%^& can't the hospital give me the same pills?!? They know I take them regularly (unless they didn't read the charts!) Hardly ever got them. They say I'm allowed to take them the day of the procedure so they can't be contraindicated, can they? OK, the one that reduces my heart rate would, I'd think, be perfect for a time like this. No nitrate, beta blocker, etc either. They sometimes gave me doses of the quick-acting insulin; as far as the 24 hour kind, I'm not sure I ever got it. Laying in a hospital bed after a cath/AP/stent placement isn't going to burn up a lot of calories obviously. So I can't buy the idea I might have a hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) reaction.
The procedure was needed considering what they found in the angioplasty, but any food/meds/sleep/activity regimen I had going in is always shot by the time I get out.

He emptied himself and took the form of a servant.....but He was also in the form of God and He also did not expect us to grasp or seize that concept. See Philiipians 2:5-8.
Physically He had the form of a man, inside He was the power, mindset, goals, etc., of the Divine? Or is it as you say, a concept humans can't conceive of?
