Democratic candidates benefit from large amounts of people voting, so by making it easy to vote with mail in ballots sealed the deal for Biden. Yet another way the pandemic caused Trump to lose.

If Biden wins
by mickbobcat inif biden wins i hope trump starts the trump news network and hires out from fox the good casters.
the people who made fox what it is are starting to get sick of how its turning to the left or dark side.
this would give trump a voice and keep alive real journalism.

They refuse to look at the evidence for whatever reason
Not even so much refusing, it's just intellectual laziness. There are droves of Americans who know close to nothing about most things of relevance in the world. But ask them about the latest contestant on the bachelor, or the latest hollywood dating scandal, they can rattle on for hours.
Sorry to say, but I travel to Europe every year and in my dealings with people there, I'm always amazed at how cultured, and knowledgeable people are over there.
The stereotype of the American idiot, who is arrogant, ignorant, prone to excesses is to some extent true. Not always, not everybody, but enough to justify it.

My take is that Trump will triumph
Ship has sailed. It's over. Yes, there will be moaning and groaning, but the reality is that unless the Trump team can provide evidence that tens of thousands of votes were illegal, it's all over.
Not talking about.. "hey Billy Bob is dead and he voted". Yes we know some of those happened, but how many? 100? Or 100,000? Unless there is evidence of a massive amount, it's all over.

Mr. Minimus, how do you feel?
by AbelJohn injust going by the topic titles you've been using these last few weeks.. do you think you can survive a whole four years with someone that's not exactly your favorite candidate?.
i know i'm in the minority from what i've been reading here, but i'm glad for the change!.
well, we all can't be satisfied altogether can we?.

I voted for Trump. I wanted Dems to lose. I don't like Trump, but I liked his policies.
There is a lesson to learn for republicans on this. Don't vote for entertainment. You don't need a president that talks shit all the time, and is essential a walking buffoon. It doesn't work. Vote for a candidate that is more polished, and will still stand for the policies that you like. The majority of the country doesn't know jack shit about issue or policies, so the little they see is just personality.
Yes it worked against Hillary, because she is even less likeable than Trump. But against Biden it was a mountain too big to climb. Biden is wise to the game and he is been in politics forever and he knows what people want to hear, and predictably Americans fell for the sugar words.
Next primaries keep that in mind and focus less on entertainment value.

Why not just recount in the states where there is a doubt? For the sake of transparency and not spending the next 4 years in a a conspiracy theory storm, let's just spend another 4 days recounting with full transparency with observers looking at the same ballots.
Everybody shakes hands and agrees to accept the final result.

You can't just ascribe this to just voter fraud. Now, I'm not saying that there weren't failures sporadically here and there, and I support recounting and full transparency.
But that is not why Trump lost. We knew that there was support for Biden. Biden still has the trailing stink of the Obama love affair from the left. Biden is a recognizable name and people feel they know what they are getting.
Trump won in 2016 by picking up states in the rust belt, which traditional are Dem, but snubbed Hillary. But those states didn't magically turn republican overnight. Sleepy Joe simply got them out to vote which Hillary couldn't.
That and Arizona turning blue is what sealed the deal.
People have been saying that Trump is teflon and people don't care what he does, but in fact we saw the same thing with Sleepy Joe. People completely didn't care about his corruption, about how he is going senile, about how he is not pro law and order, or how he is surrounded by commies. People simply didn't care, they simply voted along party lines.

I don't think the country could take a situation where Biden wins at the ballot box, only to have SCOTUS have a series of rulings that give Trump the win, especially with Trump recent judge nominations.
I don't want Biden to win, but I rather him win that the fallout that would come from that.

I think Biden going to steal it.
Yup. I don't see a path to Trump at this point, unless if somehow he can win Michigan, and that is close, but with many of the votes to be counted still coming from urban areas, that is pretty much a wrap.
Biden will will AZ, NV, and WI as well I think and that does it. At the end of day voting on emotions instead of raw facts still determines elections.
People didn't care at all about the corruption of the Biden family or about defunding police, or socialism, or anything else really. They simply don't care. It's a personality race. They hate Trump's personality and that's that. This is why it's easy for politicians to convince the typical American idiot to vote for them.

Just saying..... Ohio might be Trump's downfall. Seems that Trump will be ok in most other states later in the evening. Ohio is looking real tough looking at the numbers and if he does lose Ohio, it's very hard to win the election.

Believe me, when the bodies start piling up all over the country, these idiots will all run back home to mommy and daddy's basement and cry over their student loans while mommy fixes them soup
Maybe but it's not even needed. If at a minimum, we can get prosecutors that actually charge people and judges that set higher bails, and we start getting real convictions in these people's records, it will do the job.
Notice how in Portland once the cops got cross-deputized, and federal prosecutors could begin charging people with federal crimes, and the level of unrest god down to almost zero. Impunity does a great disservice to law and order.
