If God exists, what would be a good reason why he never communicates or helps his creation by intervention?

you have probably heard all kinds of excuses why god doesn’t communicates with his creation or why he doesn’t intervene.. some examples.. no one can see god because he is a spirit.. but we can hear god---yet he chooses not to talk to humanity.. god only communicates with certain people.

moses, samuel, abraham, etc.

but there are many people today who also claim that god spoke to them yet we ignore them but believe god spoke to people who lived thousands of years ago and we can’t really verify if that was so.

So if we’re going to ask, “why doesn’t God communicate with us”, you first need to explain why you claim that God doesn’t communicate with humans when a significant number of people do experience communication with God.

The claim that God doesn't communicate with humans is based on the fact that there is no evidence whatsoever. And no, just because some people think that they hear a voice from God, doesn't mean it's true.

You know, somehow when God supposedly speaks to humans he never says anything that will blow our minds. Somehow he can never speak to a scientist to give a cure for cancer. Nope, it's all trivial shit, that somehow is rattling around in people's minds already.

C T Russell's pyramid monument gets taken away by the WTS.

just recently the stone pyramid monument at c t russell's grave site was taken away by the wts.. six screens of the watchtower did a public discussion about the removal which may be still on that web site, that's where i heard about it.. it had been recently vandalized such the top head piece was removed and the carved christian cross on the monument was chiseled off.. since the wts owns that grave site, they have the right to do whatever they want to do with it.. my guess is that they will never put it back or redo the damage.. i think they will put it away in a obscure place and cover it, locked up somewhere.. the wts.

has never been proud or willingly open about that monument for obvious reasons such as being associated in false religion, which they claim they are not and they admonish other christian faiths are.. your thoughts ?

It's just so obvious that it was someone associated with the Jdubs that damaged it. Perhaps even the Org itself. They probably wanted to remove the embarrassing pyramid but wanted to excuse to do it.

i’m reservations, pimo elder.

i’m in no position to leave the organisation, maybe some people will see that as weak or whatever, but we have to all go down our own path in life.. i would like to be able to wake people up in my congregation, how do you think best to do this?

any ideas?.

She knows there are problems in the WT : pedophiles, money, manipulation .. but she always says "Jehovah will clean congregation at time" ...

Right... and btw, he will also heal the sick and feed the hungry...in time. And all the crime and injustice? yeah...in time.

For now, he has his hands full. He is too busy with....well..huhh nothing. He is doing absolutely nothing now, but it seems he will always do something in the future.

And by the way, what's preventing other religions from saying the same thing? If JWs point out wrongs in other religions why can't they also say...."well God will fix it in time."

Is the door to door preaching work not the primary focus anymore?

a few months back, one of my uncles who was an elder, asked the co, why jehovah would allow the door to door preaching work, to come to an abrupt end.

this was when my uncle was starting to have serious doubts about the organization.. the co told him to be patient, and hang in there, because the governing body was on top of things and in time would explain what is happening regarding the preaching work.. my uncle asked; “what do you mean?”.

co said; “focus on the wt study articles in the coming months” .

Most JWs I know just love the carts. You get to "count time", you are "visible in the ministry", but rarely have to actually speak to anyone

When I was still jdub we used to see a few sisters from another congregation who instead of door to door preaching would stand in the train station holding a Watchtower in their hand, waiting for someone to take one.

We used to look down at them, and comment to ourselves that they were lazy, and didn't do the hard work of going door to door. Little did I know that years later, the entire Org would shift the model to exactly that -- standing around all day, except now you don't have need to hold a magazine in your hand.

Bingo....very few realize it.

The kneeling thing is nothing more than boasting. All of these footballers could very well organize a fund where they contribute to build a piece of infrastructure in a poor community.

But all they can do is bend a knee while everybody watches as if that does anything. They just want to be seen doing it.

Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode where George puts a dollar in a tip jar, but tries to take it back because he realizes nobody saw him doing it. What is important to him is to be seen doing it.

I got a notice from my employer that every employee must take the vaccine and show proof of vaccination by end of next month.

The whole thing is stupid. I'm not against the vaccine, but again once the vaccine is wide available, we must stop worrying about the people who don't want the vaccine.

People should be allowed to absorb the risk of not taking the vaccine

more than 1 trillion dollars wasted and a huge deathtoll (both sides) afghanistan is back to where it started,.

will the taliban behave differently this time ?

Biden just committed an Archduke Ferdinand-level mistake all because he doesn’t understand foreign policy and his base hated everything Trump did for world peace.

Don't give him so much credit. At this point, we're lucky if he knows where the middle east is. If Taiwan falls and the world allows this, then we know that we are on a fast track to China making the world bend their knee to their will.
