Does Jehovah Still Call Black People the "No-No" Word?

i feel the title is an attention-grabber, but in no means am i looking to start racial tension on jwn.. i know in the past, at least to the 50's from what i've read, the watchtower society has been very demeaning toward people of a less alabaster pigment.

in one instance saying white people were superior and god blessed them that way for good reason.. however, i have not been able to find an official statement from them in any of their printed works that either clears up or apologizes and further corrects that bold standing.. so, to those much wiser than me, is there an official statement from the watchtower identifying people of different race as equal?

and if not, to the ex/current brothers and sisters who are of an "ethnic" background, what are your feelings on the society's derrogatory statements being left unchanged 60-100 years later?.

This is actually one of the driving points of my concern. See, when the WTS makes a claim, it's not "food in due time," it tends to be "other people figured it out for us."

How long did it take for the Society to somewhat allow "blood fractions?" If it's acceptable now, why didn't Jehovah use the Holy Spirit to guide the "spirit-driven" Organization to the forefront of the topic? Why did it take all those years of non-Society doctors and scientists testing and treating before they took a stance?

With their insensitive comments on black people and other "majority/minorities" in the past, if they don't believe it now, then why? Why would Jehovah allow them to make racially negative comments, nay "encourage them" to make racially biggoted comments, only to deliver "meat in season" when the civil rights movement became HUGE?

Why did it take integration nationwide in the United States before they would put a black man in the Governing Body? There is no anticipation. No sense of knowing what's right until the secular world has already proved it. Then they pass it along with that dirty napkin reading "light gets brighter," and hope everyone sees them as a pillar of Godly love and knowledge.

It's unfair to say white people are better, or brown people are better. I dated a girl who told me she thought black people evolved from some other animal and that they had an extra bone in their leg. I dropped her by the end of that sentence. It's stupidity and ignorance like that in people that empowers these high-control group. These people will believe any propaganda fed to them because it's easier than learning the right answer. It's easy to hate. To loathe. To discriminate. To segregate. To shun.

I enjoy doing the right thing because it's hard. At the end, I'll know I earned it and that no man would have a claim of me.

My JW Brother-in-Law's Crisis of Conscience

i am an amateur it geek who knows the ins and outs of computers, so i don't look twice at things like passwords.. anyway, a few months ago, i slipped three files onto his desktop.

Anyway, a few months ago, I slipped three files onto his desktop. Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz. Shepherd the Flock 2010 Elder's Manual. Pay Attention to Yourselves and the Flock 1991 Elder's Manual.

Unlike the other "apostate" literature, these three files are still there. He even organizaed them on one side of his desktop, away from everything else. And from the data checkers, he's been reading CoC. Alot.

I'm happy he is reading the book and whatever the motive for keeping the manuals, at least he's keeping them. They're forbidden to the Rank & File, so he knows he shouldn't have them. But he does, and small victories are victories none the less.

jwfacts is actually where i picked up those tidbits that inspired the topic. but i cant find them pulling a public explanation like they did every time their prophecies failed. they didnt throw anyone under the bus with the race issue.

if i had the choice i would rather hear a good reason why my religious leaders are telling their follwers they should aspire to be blessed with aryan traits in the new life. screw 1914s mathematicians. i want to hear why ray charles couldnt play at the assemblies in georgia.

demonize the outside world as mentally diseased. impatient. liars. unworthy.

restrict communication with nonbelievers to the sales pitch.

limit friends and worthy family to those in the congregation so they have no one on the outside.

make the brother dependent on friends and family in the congregation. when the brother makes a mistake the elders want to df for it is ingrained in the active brothers and sisters that he committed a sin against them and god. that he is now unworthy. untrustworthy. a liar. impatient. mentally diseased.

everyone he has been raised to trust is now against him. they want nothing to do with him. not if they are loyal to the organization.

and this is a fact known by every exjw on here. it is a precise act that was thought through methodically. it is the point. look at the april study watchtower. look at the january 2011 study watchtower. they acknowledge they blacklist a person on purpose.

where is the sensationalism steve2...

i was never a witness but the fact that you dont know the basic tactics of the society makes you questionable. i would understand if it was quiet and they didnt talk about it but 3 of the 2011 studies were about why they df someone. the purpose not the reason.

the 2011 convention talks. its all ther. they cut off a wrongdoer from friends and family and they have no shame in admitting it...to each other.

i get that you jumped the gun by accusing me of supporting the violation of human rights. i explained in detail that the world run by the wts would be run much like the russian government. i pointed out that the only thing russia did to the wts was deem them extremists and ban 39 out of thousands of titles.

but you have to save face. i am new and youre established so i cant have a valid point next to you. especially when you made a bold accusation and an insult to me. publically.

but i have already detailed my points and proven you to be brash. i would expect nonsensical discrediting from the society about us. but not from one of our own. unbalanced. sensationalist. words to discredit. may as well call me mentally diseased and quick to anger.

i never said russia is doing a good job murdering and wrongfully imprisoning witnesses. i never applauded russia in torturing j dubs. because they arent.

for the second time. they deemed the watchtower extremist. if they arent extremist there are a good number of balanced thinkers who would kindly disagree with you on here.

they made it illegal to possess 39 pieces of literature. every country has a list of documents it is illegal to possess and distribute. again. look at sopa.

the wts uses theocratic warfare as the encouragement to have witnesses break the law for them. so witnesses break the law by distributing illegal documents. they are arrested. not tortured. not murdered. arrested.

sensationalist. wow.

i am done with this conversation. hopefully you will learn to avoid jumping the gun in the future. or looking down on newbies. and hopefully one or more of our brothers on here will point you to the numerous wt writings associated with each of my points of similarity of th wts and the russian government.

i tried explaining but you didnt want to listen. so have fun and be kinder to newbies. you will scare all of them off. even the ones who can help more than the veterans.

Ridiculous article I found about anointed going to heaven/partaking of emblems

i was browsing to refresh my memory what jws believe about who can partake of the memorial because the church i go to now has the lord's supper every sunday as part of their worship.

a person who truly has this calling does not need to ask others if he has such a hope.

Chuck Russell had a choice of Heaven, Paradise on Earth, or Immortality on a distant planet.

No kidding, he went for all three. Up until the 50's, when people couldn't get a good look at the pleities (spelled wrong I believe), the WTS said God's throne was on a star up there.

Now, the whole "144,000" thing is a way to express value in the anointed. The anointed being the FDS/GB. If they alone are worthy of Heaven and the partaking of the memorial, then "truly" their word is valued by God. It's crap.

The bible says heaven. The 12 tribes of Israel was a literal census of the 12,000 from each actual tribe marked for heaven. They will try to relate it to a spiritual Israel, but in fact, the Mayans and Native Americans and Africans, etc. etc., they had no connection to the Abrahamic faith. They were around long before Israel and cannot be included in the census, spiritually or physically because they do not share bloodlines and could not recognize Jesus as Savior for 1400 years after the death of said Savior.

Personally, I believe the promise of heaven/paradise is a contradiction. My older brother is dead but he was a blatant sinner. He knew right from wrong and chose answer B most times. He cannot inherit the Kingdom. He cannot be in heaven/paradise.
But I love my older brother. Everything I was, am, will ever be, I owe to him for protecting me and teaching me how things work. If I make it to heaven/paradise, I am promised he will be there. "Surrounded by those you love."

If he's there, it becomes a contradiction of the divine Word. If he isn't, it becomes a broken promise from God.

Personally, I believe in a more faith based scientific idea. Nothing ever disappears. Ever. Even the concept of heaven and hell support that scientific law. I believe that when we die, our spirit (the countless electric explosions that run our body, thoughts, and chemistry) leaves our bodies and returns to the electromagnetic field created by the earth. Which was created through millions of years of natural occurance, which was created by God.

But that's me.

Enjoy the wafer and the wine. Have fun in heaven, and don't let anyone tell you your beliefs are wrong.

I am, as the Nation of Islam puts it, one of those "alabaster skinned, sharped tongued devils," and I am married to a Mexican woman who is from a family of Witnesses. We have a child together and I am still shocked that the WTS has so many of her latin family when they have expressed harsh feelings about them. Her grandmother has been a life-long Witness and is almost 90 years old. So she read this statement and stuck with them.

I don't know why...

Can anyone enlighten me about this touchy subject?

I know it's off topic. I apologize to those who my words have distracted and wont do it again in future topics.
If you saw my original post, it was disputed and then closed out with a sentence from Night At the Roxbury:

"you're quite the balanced thinker. Not!" And then Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan high-five each other. I felt a personal opinion with good points was being rationalized as something malicious and insensitive and needed clearing up.

So yeah... as in my original reply, I am still, after reading all the details, sure that Mr. Jarka's case will be swept under the rug should his appeals case fail. It's not enough to ignore a person who is kicked out of the congregation/leaves voluntarily, but they have to go the extra mile in denying he ever existed as one of them.

Most Witnesses deny Michael Jackson was ever a Witness, despite his tremendous financial donations to the Watchtower after being disfellowshipped. So I imagine they will tow the company line without hesitation for Joe Witness, the killer elder.
