This is an interesting account of some leading scientists looking for the origin of life.... one of them Professor of Biology Dean Kenyon (apparently one of the leading chemical evolutionists in the world in the 70's) wrote a book called Biochemical Predestination and how he came to disbelieve his own theories. If you can sit through an hour of these videos it is fascinating.

Signs From God?
by What Now? innot sure about the rest of you that are mentally out, but every now and again i still have those moments where i think "ok god, if this is in fact the true religion and the organization is right and i'm on the wrong path, send me a big, glaringly obvious sign that i can't ignore.. .
anyways, this past sunday my husband and i just did not feel like going to the meeting.
we weren't in the mood to sit through it.

Some friends of mine (from the UK) went to NY for a short holiday. While there they 'bumped' into someone from their congregation. Good job they weren't asking for a sign.. LOL

Which generation do you belong to ?
by edmond dantes inask a witness which generation do you belong to and see if they really know how to answer.. i have decided that every time i hear a true definition of the meaning of a generation i will post it here just to reinforce the true meaning just in case a stray jw happens to look in on here.. yesterday evening i was watching an antiques programme on the television and under discussion was a very well made baby high chair from about the nineteen thirties and the approximate date of manufacture and the length of time it had been in the family.
the expert then went on to confim how old it was and in doing so said that considering who first purchased the chair and the length of a generation that it was from the thirties and went on to say that we consider a generation to be about 25 years.. that is a truer definition of a generation than a watchtower definition.. .

by dozy inas books go, it is tiny, but it is immeasurably great in its essence.
it can be carried in ones pocket, but if it were found in a library of 90,000 different books, it would probably turn out to be the most important one of them all.. wow a strong endorsement of the bible?

People are people whatever colour they are and whatever country they are from. Good and bad in all. We all belong to the human race.

WH.. it's the same here. Eastern Europeans are highly educated, they just don't have the opportunities in their home countries. Why shouldn't they want a better life for themselves?

Maybe not 2tone.. but you did imply it.. there are good and bad people in all races and cultures. But you have to feel compassion for people worse off than you are. Truly. I mean no offense to you.
