I really like the NIV. I find it easy to read. If you want to compare versions before you buy one try this website..

i am a regular pioneer in my cong reading crisis of conscience.here goes...
by MsGrowingGirl20 ini'm on page 90 right now...the info is definitely new and gives me a totally diff view as to how i used to think of faithful and discreet slave.
i was thoroughly disgusted with the way the brothers handled the oral sex and leadership problem and the insight on the scriptures book...... still have alot of questions though.

Steve2... I'm glad you said what you did. About bitterness could be a state of grieving. I can understand that... I've felt those feelings of grief (I've only discovered these things myself in the last couple of months) and come here to try and find some help and support but only found derision and ridicule because I still believe in God. That hurts too. But it helps to realise that others are dealing with their grief in a different way. Thanks for your comment.

MsGrowingGirl20 if at any time you feel the need for extra support there is a wonderful site called jwstruggle.com. It is a really helpful site and everyone on it has a love for God, Christ and the bible. Active JWs are on there too, who are facing the same doubts and questions as you. It is a very upbuilding and encouraging site.

MsGrowingGirl20..Once you've read that and especially if you read In Search of Christian Freedom it's like opening Pandora's Box. You'll never see anything the same way again in the Organisation. For me it has been liberating, even though I have to stay for my family I can now think as a free person. I hope you find the same. It will make you feel very shaken though.
