I agree something needs to be done but, ...honestly most JWs especially in the Spanish are not willing to let go their social circle even when presented with sound arguments & proof, their social circle is embedded strongly in their culture... i attempted to test waters with an older couple who were related to me, very close I am with them & see them daily, they were in the Eng for years, he even being an elder, went to the Spanish after the BOE forced him to step down & was badly treated by 1 in particular... recently he commented to me that one study of his is into prophecy & he is studying the revelation book with his study, he mention that he had to consistently tell his study to cross out things off the book telling him "oh this is not the understanding anymore, cross out this, cross out that".... i asked him " do you ever wonder why they keep changing things? " his response " well no that's old light", then I asked "but u know there's a scripture that states there is no darkness with God, so each time he spoke it came true, u don't wonder?" He said " I try not to think about it, it's all very confusing, what matters is the love we have" ..... I realize that there was no way he would entertain a unbiased discussion of truth or facts..... many JWS just don't want to wake up from the fantasy no matter what...

i Totally agree with Magnum we have a sense of justice no matter how difficult the real truth or how hard, we are not the people that would stand blinded & continue to stay watchtower zombies, whether still in due to circumstances or out we will always be pursuers of justice. ... many unfortunately do not have that sense of strong Justice & want to be blinded... I wish I could also tell the elders in my cong to their faces it's all a lie & we are WT slaves!!! One day will come

He contradicted himself repeatedly he said it: we do not know the "day or hour" then why are you saying this "generation will by no means pass away" applying it to the 21st century?? "light of truth" does not go into "darkness" or "extinguishes" or contradicts itsef!!!

dont give them more power than they deserve.. here's why i say that, and i point this to those of you still in the congregation, still trying to decide what you want to do.. recently, our family had a little family reunion gathering of sorts, and we were in the company of some extended family that were either df or da, to varying degrees.

we made it very clear, to any and all in attendance, that we wanted to be respectful and kind, despite any previous perceptions about our "status".... and that our feelings on a lot of things had "softened", and "changed" over the last 2 years.. i am being purposefully slightly vague, but i think you get the point.

Great thread & you did the right thing. ... i was just thinking of how to respond myself to elders when they question you for not being at all the meetings & service? Any advice?

He said the bible doesn't say that the 2nd group of anointed bros don't have to be of old age for the "generation that will not pass away" for the conclusion of these system of things that "concerning that day & hour no one knows"!!!! EXACTLYYYY So why are you still saying it applies to " this" 21 century generation????? .... stop selling this NO ONE BUYS IT BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE & "EVIDENTLY" Jesús wasn't referring to an overlapping generation!!!!

I am happy though, the org keep rehashing this proves many JWs are not buying this!!!

perhaps some of you remember a new understanding of the sheep and the goats in the epic march 2015 wt study edition - specifically the article "loyally supporting christ's brothers".. while this article was studied many months ago, it was instrumental in helping me wake up.

during my study of the 2015 article i recalled that we had just revised our understanding of the sheep and the goats a few years ago and this caused me to research the real progression of the jw understanding of this parable.

i put the results of my research in an excel spreadsheet.. .

What I have consistently noticed from the organization since the constant flip flop changes they do that for the "average" JWs we never seemed to even noticed all these, different subjects being "taught" at meetings making it very difficult to keep track off or even dedicate the time to realize previous understandings now being changed... i was guilty of it for years, this is why I think many JWs don't even notice & it doesnt faze them to question it... I was a Watchtower zombie until recently, this article when studied in 2013 always stuck with me til this day, for some reason I kept the WT. I am disgusted with this organization's arrogance & self glory demanding servitude in the name of God & Christ.... i haven't done an in depth study of the "man of lawlessness" & how it will be exposed... until the WT zombies wake up they will continue to allow the WT make them feel guilty & use them as sales slaves.....

Who is a sheep or Goat??? We are not in a position to decide neither is the WT

all these years, i've always dreaded waking up early for field service.

i'm a night owl & love to sleep late, so it was excruciating for me to have to wake up early in the mornings & go door knocking.

I stopped going out knocking on doors since may & i love sleeping in, making bfast & go to the gym to work out in the mornings. .. i never really liked going door knocking & always hoped no one came to the door because I never was & will be a good salesperson.. that was the very 1st thing I stop doing when I awoke & happy
