  i agree with you both.

  but at the same time I do feel bored with the WTS. maybe its just me. I just feel like the stuff they're churning out now is so ridiculous that I don't even have the energy to string together an argument against it.

  It seems that if someone is so ignorant to not have their eyes pop out of their heads when they read this stuff, then how could I ever use rational thought to convince them otherwise?

  I can't beleive I am still stuck inside this stupid cult. I guess focus on the fact that none of the JW's in my life me really cares anyway so why should I?

  Or is the WTS just not printing "deep" articles anymore? Just seems like everything now is about shunning and listening only to the GB.

  I hope they study the Revelation book again. That always opens up great avenues for discussion of insane WTS teachings....

  Elders finally took me to the back room...

  after several months of leaving the meetings as soon as they ended or only staying for "the first meeting" then leaving the "second part", the elders finally cornered me at last night's meeting.. they said they were concerned about me and that being that i am a young brother in a recently divided congregation they saw so much potential in me to help out the congregation and become a ms.. i told them i was thankful for their thinking of me to help the congregation but that at the moment i could not due to my job.

  then the began asking personal questions that got on my nerves.. they asked where i worked and how much i made.

  they asked if i was going to college and what i was studying and for how long.

  New F&DS Light question

  i have a question about the implications of the new light regarding the f&ds.

  sorry if it sounds complicated, i'm not good at explaining things.. .

  if the f&ds is now just the few brothers who get together to dispense the food at the proper time, and the f&ds will be appointed over all of christ's belongings, then does that mean they will be appointed above the rest of the 144,000 when they go to heaven?

  DATA-DOG: According to the WTBTS the FDS was appointed in 1919.... It can't be that the FDS is the 144,000, but not. The 144,000 can't be different from the slave and get the reward of being faithful and discreet if they are not the FDS... The whole thing is jacked up. Whatever way you slice it the WTBTS teaching cannot be correct.

  But.... the WTS disagrees with you. According to them, the F&DS are specific members of the 144,000, ie: the GB - and these provide food for all the domestics (which include the rest of the 144,000 & the other sheep)

  Previously, the F&DS was not specific members, but ALL of the 144,000.

  The domestics were the members of the 144,000 that were fed spiritual food at the proper time by other members of the F&DS that were actually a part of preparing said "food"

  The other sheep were not part of the domestics prior to this "new light"

  I thnk you are confusing the function of the 144,000 with the F&DS. The F&DS was appointed in 1919, but Jesus never said anything about the 144,000 in Mathew 25. The 144,000 are the anointed Israel of God which began at pentecost 33CE. The F&DS are the GB who care for the domestics in the last days. Domestics of course are the 144,000 and the other sheep.

  i understand and appreciate the confusion. But actaully the WTS is going to pull this off.

  The israel of god is the 144,000.

  The domestics are all of Christ's property including the 144,000 and the other sheep

  The faithfull slave are members of the 144,000 that feed the domestics.

  yes it's rediculous, but the JW's will eat this shit up just like they always have

  sorry if this has already been discussed.. but at the service meeting this week on jw.org it was clearly stated by our cobe that pdf's from jw.org that are emialed to interested persons count as placements!!!.

  okay folks, next time you get a circular spam email, copy all the recipients and there is your contact list.

  email thousands of people watchtower pdf's and watch the placements soar through the roof!!!.

  today i added a new article to my blog that to the best of my knowledge is the first publication of a document put together for jehovahs witnesses by medical ethicists in cooperation with watchtower appointed hospital liaison committee members.

  this document is very helpful in medical terms yet very explosive in theological terms for jehovahs witnesses whove been taught to resist blood transfusion as rape.

  i have to disagree. i think any parent with a baby or minor child would sign this document the very moment the HLC implies the warm fuzzy jehovah hug
