  Making sense of sex and the bible

  the bible clearly states that fornicators will not inherit god's kingdom, but the question is "what is a fornicator"?

  if i remember correctly the word fornication is derived from the greek word "porneia".

  the problem is there are different defintions of that word porneia.

  my 2 cents:

  before contraceptives were easily available, sex usually resulted in children so to me it makes sense that religious leaders would stress the no sex before marriage thing.

  Should is the most dangerous word

  sex, drugs, rock n roll, sex, dressing how I want, reading what I want, sex, watching what I want, masturbation, oral sex, being able to find out who I am, no more lying, picking my own friends...

  did i mention sex? hehe. the list goes on and on.

  what type of gift would you send to your favourite poster?.

  perhaps these two new products from japan would be appropriate for someone you know.. small brush cleans between toes to reduce foot odour.

  Guinness, i had 8 of them last night!

  and for home consumption i drink Summit Pale Ale, James Page Voyaguer Pale Ale (both brewed here in MN) i also like Sierra Nevada's Big Foot Ale, 9.2%alcohl, wow baby!

  just my two cents on saluting the flag....i feel uncomfortable doing it now even though i've been out of the jws for 9 yrs for similar reasons seeker listed, esp. the God part. but i love the USA and i'm happy i grew up in a country where i can decide if i want to salute or not. and as for the singing of the national anthem, i stand and face the flag but since i don't know the words, can't sing along, hehe.
