Do you ever "out" yourself?
by exjehovah inin the 22 years since i have left the jw religion, i have come across some precarious situations that i wanted to share and hear how other people handle it.
for the record i forced the hand of the jw and they df'd me.
i didn't care and i still don't, except for the family thing.

The cult of the Jehovah Witness - Feel free to add your own interpretation
by exjehovah inthis has been on my mind all day.
i am grateful for a place like this to vent.
for anyone that is wondering why some of us are so disgusted and feel nothing but contempt for the watchtower organization aka jehovah witnesses, i want you to think about it from an outside point of view.. there are a few things that the jw organization does that is not only makes it a cult, but i want to at least touch on a few big ones.. it suppress free thought.

My grandmother has died - All I am thinking about is the JW funeral...
by exjehovah inmy jw grandmother passed away last night after a long battle with alzhemers disease.
she suffered a lot at the end of her life, a shell of who she ounce was, so i am happy she is at peace.
as i mentioned my brother died a short three months ago.

Why are there two Watchtowers published? The real reason
by exjehovah inso i talked to my dear aunt who is disfellowshipped but still has to interact with my elderly jw witness and masquerading jw aunt (really doesn't agree with the jw doctrine, but lives with my grandmother to take care of her) and she told me that there are now two watchtowers published, one that they use for congregation and the other for their "field service".. why do you suppose they are really doing that?
is it because they are trying to keep things from the public eyes?
i was really surprised to hear that..
