Biggest issue effecting apostates

i got to thinking today & you know what i think the single biggest issue effecting apostates are.

its they cannot unite and this is what gives the watchtower the upper hand.

what needs to happen (and quite honestly i don't think it will)they all have to come under one common body.

Is the story of the Garden of Eden simply a Rabbinical puzzle of SQUARING the circle??

i've seen it mentioned by several people here, this expression "gb 2.0", but somehow i'm not entirely sure what is meant with it.. i tend to read it as governing body version 2, as in "post-milton henschel governing body", that is, when the governing body became separated from the board of directors from the watchtower society, or when the wts no longer had a member of the gb as its president, i.e.

the end of the "president's era" in the wts.. is that your understanding also?.

but in that case, with the death of russel and the takeover from rutherford, wouldn't that be also a watchtower 2.0 of sorts ?.

Do you go to Kroger/Publix/Wal Mart?

i usually shop for most things at wal mart but i have learned some things at publix and kroger are cheaper than wal mart.

if you are conscious shopper, tell me what things do you buy at each store to save some money!

i am thinking about being a member of bj, if you know of any good deals at bj, let me know too.

I live two blocks from a Grocery Outlet... I go there all the time.. problem is they don't have everything .. but the prices are way way cheeper..

Global Cooling

so if i send money to al gore to pay for carbon credits, will it warm up the 30 degree temperature outside today?

pearly on years ago when i realized a few people and organizations were using junk science as away to build a cottage industry of money making and taxing, i knew it was a hoax.

then when the data came back to show the earth has been cooling instead of warming, the con artists changed the label from global warming to climate change.. believe what you want to, i don't care, but blind allegiance to the gw idea is so similar to jw belief in my mind, blind!.

I avoid Wal-Mart like the plague... and won't date women who shop there either... for reals..

We have Winco here in Idaho.. they are emloyee owned and only in Washinton Idaho Nevada Colorado, Oregon .. WINCO

What does 100 calories look like?

have you ever marvelled, as i have, at the marketing genius that sells us less food for more money?

the marketer who came up with the "100 calorie" packaging ploy deserves a consumer's medal.

i am recording my own 100 calorie snack wonders, that are balanced for a diabetic (carb, protein, and roughage).

I'm type 2 as well ... I like Balance Bars and Cliff Bars, but you gotta read the label .. they vary from bar to bar... in each brand..

but great OP .. i've noticed that BS marketing too..

and what about a bag of jelly beans with FAT FREE on the label ..WTF... thats makes them a heathy choice ?

All that to get your old light bulbs banned.

Just so you know the incandescent bulb was invented to... make a light that operated on a lower voltage .. to make electricity in homes safer...

A 100 watt incandescent light bulb produces 95 watts of heat and 5 watts of light.. based on that it should have been phased out years ago ..

IT"S like The FLINTSTONES techonology...

global warming or not ... why is it a good to waste energy.. making the world more energy efficient .. would lower the demand and make energy cheeper ..

so say the laws of supply and demand... in the free market ...

for that reason alone it would be advantageous, to lower our demand on fosil fuels .... unless...

we really don't live in a free market...

oh! and on topic.. just cuz it's cool one day don't mean it ain't warming... the extra heat pulls more water out of the ocean.. which causes cooling .. thats why they changed it to climate change..
