Sorry, i should have clarified, i wasnt suggesting this guy is/was an elder.

The couple who moved to that congregation were Dave Guy and his wife. Dave Guy is an elder on that list. This is why i asked my ex about it because she's sort-of friends with Mrs Guy. (You know how elders wives are, gossip queens but also in a clique of fellow elders wives and sycophants). My ex used to be in that clique because her dad is an elder.

That BBC report says the diseases were transmitted when patients accepted the blood clotting fraction "Factor VIII":
BBC: They needed regular treatment with a clotting agent Factor VIII, which is made from donated blood.
JW's can't claim they were protected from this danger because it is a blood fraction, not one of the four banned components.

So if a JW tells you they were protected in this case by their blood policy, please tell them they were not.

I remember this fella. Never knew him personally but he was in Wallasey South congregation, a couple from my old hall moved to that congregation and i remember his stupid sad face. He had bushy eyebrows and when he answered up he practically barked down the mic. You see the same old faces every year at the convention and thats the kind of face you dont forget.

I always thought he was one of those old school, hardline JWs that never laughs when the speaker makes a joke from the platform. Shush's people who whisper during the talks and taps people on the shoulder if they talk during the song.

I asked my ex about it, she's still sort-of friends with the couple that are in his cong. She said "we're not allowed to talk about it". Whatever that means. I cant imagine who his "supporters" are. Even when i was a JW i'dve happily kicked this man to death for harming a child.

Now remember, if this brave girl leaves the JWs because of this and lives her life free of them she'd be shunned, and if he's "repentant" he wont be.

My 1 Year Update - I've Been Disfellowshipped One Year Today

what a journey!.

it was a year ago today that i was announced from the platform by brother paul "twofaced" castley that i was "no longer one of jehovah's witnesses".

i didn't go to that meeting to hear the announcement because i already didn't believe the watchtower religion.. how was my first year?

Amsterdam is one of my favorite citys. Marijuana aside, i really love the people, those tall houses, the scenery and your transport system which just works. England needs some of that! Oh and Dutch girls . The accent is damn sexy.

Judicial meeting questions.

why do elders ask such perverted questions during judicial meetings?

One of my best friends (female) left the org precisely because of this. She wasn't even baptized, was an unbaptized publisher at 15 and secretly had a worldly boyfriend. On one occasion her bf touched her boobs (shock-horror!) and her sister told on her to the elders.

The story i got from her was, the elders in her cong contacted the CO to determine what action should be taken. She was removed as unbaptized publisher. But for some reason three elders still wanted to talk to her. She was asked the following questions (i swear this is what she told me):

Where were you when this happened?

Did he touch just one or both?

Were you wearing a bra?

Did he move them around or just squeeze them?

Did you like it?

What were you wearing?

Did you get aroused?

Was he aroused?

What were you thinking as he was doing this?

The youngest elder in that room at in his late 50s. The oldest was 80-odd. She was 15. After that she was too creeped out to ever look at them again and never went to another KH. She's now a very successful business woman.

so i have been looking up these different articles to read for myself...one problem.the last time we got a disc was 2015 and i used my mil's disc to down load it to my computer.

I remember an interview at an assembley where they interviewed a young brother who was a talented musician and was a piano player in a band. He had to choose between serving Jehovah and touring with the band. He chose Jehovah. Two years later the band was an international name.

Interviewer: Any regrets brother?
