tired of listening to your local elders giving the "special" talk ever year after the memorial?
well don't worry, as of next year we will be spicing things up for your enjoyment.. not only will we be having the talk before the memorial (i know, wild huh), but we will be treating you to the talk via video starring our famous speakers from bethel so you can see how a talk should be given (after all bethel does boast the best speakers in any country, right?!).

They do seem to be cutting back on the number of live talks and demos. Remember the dramas in the conventions? Dont see them anymore either.
Here's hoping it'll fizzle into an internet televangelist religion like so many on TV asking for donations and selling bible courses for a "love gift donation of $49"

I've been awake about 3 years, DA'd 15 months ago (then DF'd anyway for "apostasy"). I claimed Jesus was the mediator for all mankind, GB said otherwise. So that made me the apostate. You couldn't make it up could you?
When i first left i was like you are now, not really sure what to believe. Although im now an atheist, i love many things the Buddha said, many are strikingly similar to Jesus words but pre-date him by 500 years. A great book to read is Teachings Of The Buddha.
It's great once you get to live your life on your own terms. I have a friend who is an ex-elder. Really great to see you here. As regards to identity, sometimes we change the town, names, dates etc in our stories to keep our privacy. (Although personally, im more than happy for people to know my city).

BUT REMEMBER!! If he's turns up to the JC, they take that as "evidence that he recognizes the authority of that body". I'd tell him not to turn up, or better still tell them he doesn't recognize the authority of the body and then not turn up.
i've only just stopped laughing.. in my old hall there's a brother who's now claiming to be of the anointed.. he's 28.. i do wonder if he's doing this for attention, if he's awake and messing with them, or if he really is that deluded.
when i was in he was an ms. which surprised even me because only a year earlier than that he was "a bit of a lad", is rubbish at talks and relies on his elder uncle to get him out of trouble all the time.. i guess this now means he's get his pick of jw sisters.

Yes. The approach would be to "help" them realize that it's much nicer not being in a cult. Except, if they 100% believe and have zero doubt then it wouldn't work. But you could embed a post-hypnotic suggestion to shout "what a load of old sh*t!" every time someone says amen. That'd be fun.

Very simple. Allow me to pick up after that incompetent Jehovah had created Adam and Eve. I wont create a tree to test them. And i'd communicate directly with the human race. People are given a choice to "allow me to look after them" like a father. NOT WORSHIP. I dont want to be worshipped, i just want to look after my humans.
Those who let me look after them are given whatever they want, they're intelligent, they live very long lives and eventually fall asleep in complete bliss and pass away. When they pass away they're with me up here and can come back down for visits every now and then.
Those who dont want me to look after them are free to go and on the other side of the world. The people living there get sick, the grow old, they experience hardship. They can come back whenever they want and let me look after them and nothing bad will happen.
Anyone who attempts to harm a child is zapped immediately.

This is a classic case of control. You cant leave even silently. Because they'll just hold a JC with you not even there, DF you and announce you from the platform.
From what i remember from the elders guidebook, an inactive one turning up to a JC is taken as "respecting the authority of that body"... of course the poor inactive person isnt told that. He could be turning up to be polite.
After 6 years i'd say your safe. I know people who've faded less than a year and are left alone.

chapter 31. murder suicide and death at the big house.
the people at bethel were killing us spiritually and sometimes they killed us physically too.. many of the old timers were in the infirmary laying there just waiting to die of natural causes.
some had served there for over fifty years.
It sounds like a prison camp. So glad i never did go to Bethel. I did go to the "bethel" meeting at one of the conventions with my then girlfriend.
there was an explosion on a london tube train at parsons green station at 8:20 bst this morning.. there are pictures online of a plastic bucket that seems to be the source.
