it appears as a pyramid containing the masonic symbol of the compass and square, with this reflected below the text.
the art pieces on the shelf are also interesting and maybe someone has some thoughts on these.
No it looks nothing like the square and compass - lol!
They're two completely different symbols. The masonic square an compass creates a small square shape in the middle with overlapping lines.
It looks more like a Domino's Pizza logo if you ask me, but i wouldn't go around suggesting the watchtower society is secretly feeding the members pizza.

And why would the Watchtower go to the trouble to deliberately leave clues even if they were?
inspired by this weeks clam article which again "reminds" the brothers pdf their obligation/privilege to donate "voluntarily" i have complied a list of articles or videos in the last 5 years where donations are indeed solicited or encouraged.
the society may argue that these are not actual solicitations because no plate was passed around.
but a donation box is just a more discrete and subtle version of the plate.
I'm happy to say that I've never donated a penny to the Watchtower even when i was in. I couldn't afford to! It cost me £80 a month in taxi's to the meetings.
I remember giving a talk about giving to Jehovah. I concluded that one of the most valuable things a person has is time. And brought out that we can donate time to the org in preaching, meeting attendance and study. I didn't mention money because at the time i sincerely believed what out CO had told us, that the org dont worry about money.
I was reprimanded for that by the elders.

I think it's more likely that with the merging congregations, there's larger distances between them so they're having to re-jiggle the circuits.

since i had been in a religion that was focused on death.
it was now time to focus on life.. the wonderful line from shawshank redemption says it so well.
Two things...
First did god kill the baby because it got a blood transfusion to drive the point home to the disobedient husband?
Although the doG of the old testament loved killing children (Bathsheba's baby, firstborn Egyptians) i dont think he was responsible for this one.
He told the elders he was wrong and blamed his “worldly wife” for the pressure she had put one him. He begged them for their forgiveness.
I bet they loved that. Although, even if doG does exist, and even if he is anti-blood transfusion, it's not the elders they should be asking for forgiveness.
What a sad story. And unfortunately, not an isolated incident.

When i studied hypnosis there was a guy there that could make an atheist have a "spiritual experience" simply using suggestion. He de-converted them afterwards, but the lesson was that we cant just trust our emotional highs as a sign of God or whatever.
Some religious people there actually walked out.
here i am 63 years old, out of the cult going on 8 years, went through a year of therapy back in 2007, been working very hard to become the person i have always wanted to be.
but what happen to me a few days ago just blew me out of the water for the past two days.
i am now finally coming to grips with my emotions and understanding what caused me such distress.. here's what happen.
Whenever someone reacts that way with me i just say "f*"k 'em". She has the problem, not you.
i ask this question because i have personally experienced first hand the control and intrusion into my personal life by the elders at our hall; and for virtually trivial things or non issues!
what's more, i regularly hear of individuals moving to other halls because they were stumbled by the thought police....er, i mean these elders.. have you had any such experience?
have your elders been a bit ott over trivialities?.
The best thing you can say to an elder when they poke their nose in is:
"This is my religion. You're not the FBI or CIA. Go away little man..."
Then enjoy their reaction. Their power instantly removed from them. They do-not-like-it!
