kept it, sold it or dumped it?
I binned most of them. Except for:
Mankinds Seach For God - sold on eBay, bought by a Mr Lloyd Evans.
An old Rutherford book called Riches - sold on eBay. Even though I'd "borrowed" it from the KH library.
The Revelation book - Kept it. Still have it. It's too crazy and embaressing to ever get rid of.
Insight books - tried to donate them but nobody would take them - not even for free. One 2nd hand bookstore owner told me "Oh, Jehovah's Witness stuff? There's no interest in that."
I was the first brother in my congregation to turn up to the KH with a tablet. Actually, it was a Kindle with PDFs of the Watchtower on it and the NWT in .mobi format.
I got a good scolding in the back room and lots of snide remarks my the holier than thou members for being "showy". One elder told me "The bible is your sword, how are you supposed to preach with a tablet?".
Fast forward a year, tablets were ok but absolutely not to be used on the platform.
Another year and everyone is encouraged to buy a tablet.
Now? If you dont have a tablet you cant follow along and are regarded as not keeping up with Jehovah's org.
many of us have watched the gb #4 update.
most of us jumped for joy when they basically said that there will be no meeting in person for a long time to come.. one aspect we overlooked was how hard they hit home the "love of neighbor".
how this "love" is what makes a true christian and as a result our love for our neighbors will motivate us to stay at home.. well now they released a letter that is instructing all kh's to view this video during their local needs part.
I do wonder how they'd manage to hold any judicial committees if they're not meeting up. Over Zoom? Where it can be recorded and witnesses present off camera?
i’ve heard from a few trump voters that they are getting tired of the whole trump thing.

i see it in my wife all the time, when she talks with non jw people she is like "meh" i got to talk with you.. when she talks with jw people, she has a cult emotion like "yes my people" .
she is screwed in the head, the more that time goes by i want to leave her and get a divorce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mother’s the same. She even shuns my autistic younger brother who simply left because he refused to shun me.

They’re not being tested to prevent them getting the virus, they’re testing them to make sure they don’t have it already in order to pass it on.
Flu is a very different issue. Covid-19 is new and more deadly that the flu which just goes to show how many people could have died if we didn’t have such mesures in place.

Like others have said, the pro footballers are tested regularly so they know they dont have it to pass on. Football continues because it makes £millions, which of course the government taxes and takes a cut.

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but when you say "liberal" what exactly do you mean?
To me, the word liberal means being more flexible and open to change depending on the need or circumstances. Does it mean something different in a political context?
Also, is it that black and white? Is it either conservative or liberal? Is there no middle ground?
Genuinely asking as my political interest only came after I left the witnesses 4 years ago.
