They're very nice brothers. Whenever they have get-togethers or BBQs etc everyone turns up.
However, no ones ever seen their bedrooms. In fact, im not even sure if there's two bedrooms.
One works with my brother in law and before i was DF he told me that this brother confided in him that he's sat on more than a few JC's in his time. Which is surprising because he's a "squeeky clean" by the book, straight out of a Watchtower article brother. Very polite and friendly.
There are 10's if not hundreds of thousands of closeted gays in JW-land. It's one of WT's best-kept secrets.
I remember a visiting speaker we had a few years ago. He could only have been about 21yo and min servant but he was assigned to give a talk in our hall. He turned up with his mum and dad. He was, by far, the most camp and effeminate man i've ever seen in JW land. Fake tan, eyebrows plucked to perfection. After the meeting i spoke to him and he gave me a limp handshake. :-D I have no idea what his talk was about, i was distracted by his performance.

In my old congregation there are two brothers (non related) who are in the early 30s. They've never dated girls. They're "best friends". They go on holidays together, they live together, they sit together in the hall, they sit together in the assemblies. One went to live in Spain for a while and returned after a few weeks because they missed each other.
There are at least 3 very attractive and sought-after sisters that are head over heels besotted with one of them. Despite their obvious flirtations and fawning he's never persued any of them. When kind old biddies in the hall tell them they're such lovely boys and "why haven't you been snapped up yet?" they reply that they're too busy for stuff like that or they're not interested in dating.
What does that sound like to you? - in the words of Seinfeld "not that there's anything wrong with that" -
BUT if their living arrangements are what i suspect they are surely the holy spirit was on a day off the day they were both appointed as min servants?

OP, i've just read your previous posts - all letters written to the GB/bOrg over their policies. You clearly dont agree with A LOT of their teachings.
You do realise that because of those letters you'd be held at arms length for a LONG LONG time, perhaps forever. And also the elders would be informed that you're a likely trouble-maker.
This is your ticket out, think before you act.
just look at his history!

Go to wol.jw.org and do a search for Andre. He is one popular guy! It is a name that the Borg has used so much in their examples ... err ... "true life experiences", that it has become a joke!
hahahaha!!
Andre was almost killed by a bomb that took the lives of several of his friends.
-
At that time, I was living with some relatives, including a distant younger relative named Andre, who was studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses. Still, I was curious about the Bible and occasionally read the copy Andre kept in his bedroom.
-
Andre—The more time you spend with a girl, the easier it is for feelings to grow and the more that person will think you’re interested in a romantic friendship.
-
“All I wanted was to get my mail,” explained Andre. “But to realize later that innocent people, a number of whom I knew, were blown to pieces was a great shock.
-
How was Andre pressured to excel in athletics?

Do what you think is best for you. But...
Did Moses, Noah, Enoch, Amos, Samuel, Elijah etc etc need to "bring about needed change very soon given the continuous pressure they face"?
If God directs a person they dont mess it up. Not even once.
All the best to you though.

Did Andre make it into the bunker?
Are we talking about the black boy that wanted to be a runner but gave it all up so he could go door knocking?
"if you are a young person you need to face the fact you will never grow old in this system of things.. why not?
because all the evidence in fulfilment of bible prophecy indicates that this corrupt system is due to end in a few years...as a young person you will never fulfil any career that this system offers".
may 22 awake!
If it was the same kind of apology they made when they layed off hundreds of old time Bethlites then it wont mean shit.
They put a non GB speaker up there and said "many of you have served for many years, even giving up the chance of having children... you knew what that meant to serve Jehovah"...
reading konceptual's account of talking to cart 'witnesses' and it reminded me that when we left in '89 we thought the religion would do one of two things.
get more hardline, consequently lose members and eventually come to an end in some way.
or ease up on the members, fewer rules, less fs time, less meetings, just to keep them in.. all the recent apostate stuff, treatment of dfed kids and the hardline attitude to people who leave or try to fade has confused me, made me think they are harder on the r+f., but i don't think this is true.
Didn't they pretend for a while that the reason for dropping the Book Study Groups was so families could have a Bible Study night instead? Do they even talk about that any more?
I was told at the time (unofficially), that it's because when the great tribulation starts we'll need to rally together as families so family togetherness is Jehovah's new light.
Even at the time i could smell bullshit - and just thought they're copying the Mormon "family togetherness evening" thing, albeit 120 years late.

Cant remember the exact words or which WT mag it came from (i'll look later) but there was definitely an article admonishing us to not try to understand the bible on our own. And that Jesus communicates only via the FDS (the GB). I was always given a hard time for the books in my collection: MANY translations of the bible, the Book Of Mormon, Bagavad Gita, Pali scriptures, Native American mythology, Norse mythology etc etc. I was removed from giving prayers in the hall due to mentioning in conversation with a brother that i can understand how some people many years ago would think of personifying things around them like "trees", "love", "war", "laughter" and giving them a god/goddess etc and isnt it interesting that we use the term "the God of love" for Jehovah?
No mics, prayers, sound desk duty for the Pale.Emperor from then on. I was glad to have a rest in all honesty.
