It is indeed. Kirkby congregation. Im told Kirkby was the mother of a lot of congregations that would pop up in later years.

Jennifer: I follow that blog too, but a recent post really bothered me—it cast Jehovah’s Witnesses in a bad
light. A lot of the responses to the post were outright lies. I felt that I had to defend the truth.
Lauren: **[Surprised]** I didn’t see that post. What did you do?
Jennifer: I responded to the post and to several of the false statements.
Lauren: Oh.
Jennifer: **[Hesitates]** Uh, did I do something wrong?
Lauren: Well, is it possible that by responding to the comments, you could have been communicating with
apostates?
Jennifer: I never thought of that. But the responses made me angry. How should I have dealt with them?
Lauren: Well, when I see negative information on social media, I try to remember that Jesus said “wisdom is
proved righteous by its works,” so I choose not to get involved.
Jennifer: Oh, yeah. Instead of arguing with every lie spoken against him, Jesus let his works speak for

I think a more accurate scenario would have went like so:
The 2:30 part is about school. Demo about not sexting. Intro says, "**[A Witness teenager named Sarah and a non-Witness classmate named Olivia are standing and talking after school. The speaker explains that Sarah has just received a text with a picture from a boy at school. It is a provocative picture of him at the gym with his schlong out]**"

My prediction is that when the old GB all die off they'll be replaced with ones that will bring in tithing. This will eventually become an internet dependent religion, sermons conducted via livestream, mags and books in PDF, ministry reduced to showing videos on an iPad.
OR
One of the GB or their helpers will go rogue and start his own splinter religion. He'll pull a scripture out of his ass and claim its a fulfillment of prophecy from Daniel or Revelation. The new guy will end the blood doctrine, many JWs who secretly disagree with the blood doctrine will flock to this Jehovah 2.0 religion. New light will be that the 1914 teaching was a test to mankind. 144,000 are all up there now. Only thing to do is to have as many kids as possible now so we're ready to populate the new world. Of course this mean polygamy being brought back.
Hey, it's a stretch, but do you think Charles Taze Russell would have envisioned the religion to turn out the way it has?

How do you find reddit

just curious but how do the people off this forum find reddit.

for myself i find reddit to be sadly lacking in the jw world.

i just don't find the depth there e.g one sentence replies, trying to be funny.

I find Reddit a pain to navigate. It feels like im using a 1990s version of the internet.
As regards to Lloyd Evans, i dont know much about him, i do enjoy his videos but will i shite spend £26.75 on his book. I'll wait until it's on eBay 2nd hand for a few quid. I mean it's not as if he's covering his losses or anything, it was funded with a "go fund me" page wasnt it?

these people won't state anything definitively, but here's an excerpt from the study article entitled "making christian marriage a success", in the august, 2016 watchtower.

it does make me wonder.. although the bible does not provide specific rules about the kinds and limits of love play that might be associated with natural, sexual intimacy, it mentions displays of affection.

I remember coming home from a BBQ that was only for "brothers" while the "sisters" were having a little get-together in one of their houses. When i got home my then-wife told me that the sisters had been talking about it and if it's "allowed". The elders wives except one all said it wasn't for Christians, the one elders wife that thought it was ok was a hot younger woman too.
My ex's friends decided that to be on the safe side they'd stop doing it.
This isnt a cult or anything.
