  What was covered up in your congregation??

  family move to remote pacific island to serve were the need is great get a mention in the year book.. however one of the (married) boys in the large family has sex with his sister while his wife is in hospital giving birth to their child.

  all hushed up not even a word said and hes now an elder d.fing people for lesser crimes.. young couple dating leave the jws and move in togather doing drugs partying ect.. his family grandfather,uncles, dad ect are all elders.. after a few years they decide to come back to the jws and are married in the k.h a few months latter.. 1 elder questions them getting married in the k.h and is voted down by his family.. to many drunks and c.s.a to mention.. karter..

  Kirkby congregation, UK:

  Elder physically abusing his wife for years. He's an alcoholic. Has a new shower installed, balks at the electrician's price quote so decides to do it himself. His adult daughter ends up getting electrocuted in the shower due to his neglegence. His wife leaves him. The police investigate, he claims an electrician in the congregation who had since died did the work. His wife exposes him - she's regarded as an apostate so no one listens to her.

  Years later he had the gall to get up on the platform in the convention giving a tale of woe, claiming his wife left him because he chose the org over his own wife.

  He got an applause.

  [To any JWs in Liverpool, UK (and particularly Kirkby congregation), even if you dont believe the story - you know who I'm talking about... which in itself speaks volumes].

  I really dont understand why he cant just focus on exJW issues and lifting the lid on Watchtower. Why on earth would he think anyone really cares about him or his personal life.

  Why livestream yourself crying when your wife left you? Why even bring it up or comment on it?

  Why make a video about what kind of sexual experiences you seek out? Why even bring it up or comment on it?

  Why make a video about your personal experiences with mind altering substances - Why even bring it up or comment on it?

  Who gives a F about his personal life?

  Except, that by making it about him rather than activism, he's created the very thing he didnt want.
  

  And the less we say about the bleach blonde hair, the better.

  I found episode 3 rather triggering. When she asks her parents if they'd shun her if she got "excluded". And they stay quiet.

  My never-been-a-JW partner asked me if I was ok while we were watching it because I was silent the entire time.

  hi everyone i’m a pimo elder ex bethelite and pioneer who has been having doubts for many years.

  as of late i’ve come to have even more doubts mainly due to the gb pushing the vaccines and acting like salesman for big pharma companies .

  i will never take these vaccines even if it meant i couldn’t go to the hall as was previously said but the gb have done a big u turn on this now.

  Ahhh I remember those days. It's a slippery slope.

  what is the harm or downside of being pimo?.

  i get all the good things about being in the cong, good social life lots of invites to bbqs and meals out.

  lots of interesting gossip 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

  I know when I was PIMO I hated with a passion having to look over my shoulder all the time just doing normal things like socializing with non-JW friends, enjoying someones birthday, having to clear my internet history all the time, having to watch what I say and how I say it.

  I dont miss those days at all.

  Caleb & Sophia - The Watchtower gets weirder

  the latest video release 4/4/22 (lesson 44 'don't give up') in the comic series of caleb & sophia just got weirder.

  the plot is about caleb & sophia preaching door to door, caleb with his father and sophia with her mother.

  it shows each of them having doors slammed on them four times.

  I remember being about 15 working with my aunt. Door opens and it the hottest girl in school in her PJs. She notices me, asks what I'm doing there. Then her friends (also in my school) all gather at the door. My aunt says (and I'll never forget this in my life) "Oh, you're in the same school? Perhaps he can study with you during breaks?".

  Cue girls laughter, my red face, and them taking a magazine to laugh at.

  Yh, that Monday we all heard about that.

  Memorial invite

  now they start inviting to their "commemorate the death of jesus" event.

  it always makes me a bit sad.

  i don’t think i could endure to watch it myself today.

  I remember when I was dating in my early 20s getting a talking to by an elder because I went to my girlfriends congregation to "celebrate" the memorial there. Like it mattered what building you were in. I'm literally getting dressed up to pass crackers and wine to somebody.

  I always found the term "celebrate" the memorial as a contradiction in terms. This didn't feel like a celebration. There was no joy. All very serious.

  A complete waste of time.

  Remember in 2001 when the memorial was at their homes (on account of the pandemic) and elders letter said if there's no anointed people present you dont even need the actual emblems?

  I mean, why bother even having it?!!
