We did that. We stood up put our coats on then went to the bar where the cash register was. I asked about paying no less then 4 times and was blown off 4 times. It makes me mad because I like this place but the service has went down a bit. I see service and out and out poor workers all over the place. It seems like the USA is going down hill fast. Everyone thinks they are owed a living for little to no work.

My wife and I went to a restaurant we go to a few times a year. We waited for a bit but not horrible to get our drinks and food. The place was busy but not people waiting in line for a mile to get in busy. The waitress never refiled our drink once during our visit. She brought us our bill after we were sitting for 15 min after we were done. We waited 20 more min. for her to take our bill and CC to check us out.
After waiting half an hour we walked up to the cash register[This is not a check out at the register restaurant.] and asked the bar tender if she could check us out. She said no and then another waitress came up and I asked her if she could. She said I don't have the CC machine. She said I will tell your waitress. We waited another 30 mins. I asked the bar tender again and was told you just have to wait. I walked out at that point. If you don't want my money I am not waiting all night.
Any one have bad service like this before?

Fawlty Towers (1975) & (1979) - still laugh-out-loud funny after all these years
by LoveUniHateExams inso, i went and bought series one and series two on second hand dvd for one pound each.. i first saw series one of fawlty towers when i was about 11, then i saw series two a year later.. it's a little dated now, but that doesn't really matter because it's still making people laugh.
that's all comedy is.. there is one episode - the kipper and the corpse - which i think is a bit rough around the edges, it's not as polished as some of the other episodes.
but it still has some great lines in it, e.g.. the two old ladies: you're in a good mood today, mr fawlty.. basil: yes, well one of the guests has just died.

Funny this thread came up. Cancel culture has pushed and I can not remember what groups pulled it but the episode where Basil gets hit on the head and starts in about the war to the German guests. I bought the VHS set and then burnt them to DVD. Great series. When ever my wife asks how long I am going to be most times I reply, Nick of paint plenty of time.

on the one hand i would say they did ,however on the other hand they knew religion was a gold mine for them .. and their lifestyle how they live reflected that .. and i can see the gb of the wt in it for the same reasons but they do it without all of the theatrics that these televangelists seem to thrive on.. i look forward to your thoughts on the movie..

CBD does nothing for me. I know some people who say it helps them but me, my wife and my brother all say it did nothing for them. I use vape marijuana for pain and sleep and it works great. Personally I never use during the day unless the pain is bad. I have a neck issue due to an accident I am a candidate for surgery. I am refusing surgery unless its so bad I can not take it. But Marijuana helps with pain and sleep at night. CBD did nothing for me. I could not feel any difference. I also tried Kratom and that did nothing for me.

The two people who brought the cult to our neck of the woods back in the day were a married couple who were both anointed. They were both regarded as oracle's of our area. I have seen a few women Anointed and I use the word anointed as the joke it is used in the cult. They are nothing more than people who think they have gods calling which they can don't . Either god does not exist and there is no evidence one does, or if god does exist than god would be a total douche nozzle to associate with such assholes as the GB.
