I see that Tony Juicehead has his supporters, even here in the Wild West of the internet.

You can tell by the number of dislikes given to posts that clearly define Tony’s naughty.

Some of the good folks here can see the significance of Tony’s booze run, others not so much. For the sake of the others that cannot see the forest for the trees, I think it best to explain what’s happening here.

Tony is a WT God. As such, he has minions to take care of the more ‘mundane’ things. After all, the GB are important dudes. They have to relegate the mundane things to the lesser ones in the kingdom of Gawd, whilst they care for the important things of Gawd, like communication of Gawd’s laws to humanity.

So, where are the minions? Isn’t Tony and the other WT gods to busy with the BIG stuff, the heavy lifting in the house of gawd....

Tony is hiding what he is doing, not just from us, and the rank ‘n file dubs, he’s hiding it from Bethel. Maybe not hiding it from the other WT gods, as they may be booze hounds too. Maybe it was Tony’s turn to booze run.

Magazines have so diminished that the latest instruction is that the magazine servant is gone, laid off, reassigned in the same manner as are the superfluous bethelites that have been told to hit the road.

The magazines have been assigned to the literature brother who now does both.

But not a problem, you see, as the books have so diminished as well. Between the books AND the rags, there’s barely enough work for one guy.

Soon, there will be a GOING OUT OF BUSINESS sign in the window.

I believe that Watchtower is moving more and more money into squirrels holes.

What I mean is this.

In the congo I attend, sparecely mind you, the constitution was recently rewritten to allow for large sums of money to go on deposit with the congo and earn a “profit”... new Canadian law last year.

What this means is, if the cobe is an ultr orthodox burned in his soul trusted watchtower man, then the Society will put a bag full of loot in his charge, hidden away from lawsuits.

Others have said that this is not new. Well, I say I have been "in" for a half century and counting and I have never heard what I was just hearing...

I imagine that in the past, a few bro's gave a few beatin's but I'll bet the WTS got sued and the bro's got charged. It's ain't the 'twenty's anymore. Lawyers are big business.

If elders can respond with violence at the KH, then why can't kids in school fight back? Why can't kids go to karate class? And if elders can fight back, why only with fists? Why not have a taser?

The direction was quite specific but still opens pandora's box.

Two elders will approach an "apostate" who is in the kingdumb hall. They are not to touch him physically, however, if the person strikes out first, then it's open season baby. Put the hurt on the boy.

No more turning the cheek. The Watchtower has now adopted the strategy of war. They are no different than the military's of the world. They may defend themselves.

Taken to the next level, all the witness to said beatin'... are, well.... witnesses, JW that is. And it really doesn't matter who struck first when all the witnesses will say it was apostate Joe who dunnit.

If a tree falls in the forest, and only dubs are present, did it really make a sound? I guess we will have to wait to see what the GB says....

Family is now reaping what they sowed and they don't like it.

i resigned from the jw's in my 20's over 30 years ago, i was immediately shunned by my entire family and it's remained that way with a few exceptions ever since.

one of those exceptions was being contacted by a cousin a few years back and during that conversation i discovered that my mother had been and still was the prime mover in my complete and continuing shunning.

i then used what contacts i had left to confirm it.

I know why I would do in this situation. I would agree that my parents need help and then say that “our church will take up a collection for them” and that “our pastor wil come with me to Hospital to pray with him/her”
