  how many in your age group are still jehovahs witnesses?

  from where we are at, there aren't many left.

  each year it gets smaller and smaller haha .

  One comment and went like this.... One has a messy hair style, the other a weird haircut, they are wearing tight pants and high waters (everyone chuckled).

  I saw nothing wrong with anyone in the photo. Big deal they have different styles.

  I like how the website has pics of a Tavern and Ale house. Clearly very "worldly" where low life degenerates would hang out. In our area we get in trouble for stepping foot in a bar. But i guess if it sells real estate, the big J is ok with it.

  i never got into trouble with the elders.

  i served on judicial committees too many times.

  i am happy that i no longer have to "judge" whether someone is a "sinner" any longer!

  reproved once, df'd once. The judicial meeting was 4 hours long for both the reproof and the df. To get reinstated it took 2 years, 3 letters, and a half hour meeting, 3 hour meeting and another 3 hour meeting. Crazy bastards.

  Was talking to a couple family members that brought this up today. (and i only knew about it from this site ha). They hadn't written their letters yet and didn't know if they were going to because the deadline is April 5th when Putin decides supposedly and their letters wouldn't get there in time. I told them no one is going to even care about the letters or be able to read them since they will be in English. Crazy that people are doing this.

  More evidence beards are being eased in . . .

  the june 2017 watchtower tells the experience of a bible student who was homeless and unkempt, but improved his appearance after being preached to.. peter began to change.

  he bathed, neatlytrimmed his beard, and put on the betterclothes that don offered him.

  peter continued to maintain a clean appearance.. so here we see that with a neatly trimmed beard the watchtower's writers view him as having "a clean appearance".

  I just wear a beard and don't care what anyone else thinks. Got a lot of grief about it at first, but people have gotten used to it. Still doesn't persuade anyone else to grow one though.

  I feel like I'm losing my religion/faith

  i'm a baptized jw...been baptized for 8 years...and throughout the years i've been baptized i see "hypocrisy" so to speak in the religion...when you're new and not baptized that's when the jws want to invite you to every gathering they have, they want to appear like they're your best friend...they want to help you out when needed and so forth...however, once you're baptized you go to the elders for help they don't help you....all they do is gather you around the office...have bibles in hand and so forth...they give you articles as well, instead of physically helping you out....but yet when you weren't baptized they would physically help you out and not throw scriptures and articles in your face.

  also when you ask for help and so forth with the bros/sisters they want to throw the "each one must carry his/her own load" scripture at you.....but yet what happened to the scripture of taking care of widows and people who are orphans?.

  it's not just one congregation...throughout the 8 years i've been baptized i've been through many kingdom halls...many towns...many states...when i was inactive for awhile i even pretended to not be baptized and just play dumb when the witnesses came to my door...they're much nicer to you when you're not baptized then when you are baptized...why is that?.

  Jw's are conditioned to look down and judge everyone, even those in the religion. They will be your friend until you start missing a few meetings, stop going in service etc. And all the friends you thought you had will no even look at you or talk to you if you get disfellowshipped. Its a story thats been told thousands of times and will continue to be told as long as this religion is around.
