Punkofnice , I wanted to respond to your question for me about if I believe in the God stuff. Some have responded that things in the Bible could be adjusted to fit some scriptural prophecy to make it work such as when I stated the 1000 years is a Day to God and, that the oldest man lived 969 years and Adam 900 plus showing they lived and died within 1 day according to God's word. I can tell you that when I went through school, the idea that man evolved from Apes was pushed but, along that line Neanderthal was primitive man. Now science itself admits that Neanderthal man was a separate species than Man with larger brains (which should make them more intelligent, grew more quickly and were the first to hunt animals). This idea was shown to be true in the Bible for at least since Moses day. It is why God brought the flood in the first place. After Satan caused the fall of man, other angels looked upon women of Earth and desired them so, they made Earthly bodies and had sex with women. The children of the angel/ human's were tyrants that went about causing bad and taking all that they wanted. - This is confirmed in the Bible. That is why God flooded the Earth, to destroy the bad line of angel children before there were no good people left to save. Today, scientist admit they cannot understand what happened to this other race since, they all vanished! Science has only come to this finding in the past 10-15 years tops so, the Bible's explanation was dead on even before Jesus day. If that fact doesn't show someone of higher power knew than nothing could convince them. Comments are indeed welcome.

Jesus said Truly I tell you This Day...

i had someone say that god lied because, adam didn't die that day but, the scriptures say to god a day is as a thousand years so, since adam lived 900+ years after eating , he indeed died within god's view of a day.
methuselah the oldest to ever live 969 years still within god's set time of a day.

Adam could have put Jehovah In Paradox!
by JohnTron72 ini'm going to be the first and throw this out there for others but, from careful study of the scriptures i've found a loophole that even adam who was perfect at the time missed!
i'm sure everyone has heard the conundrum about ,"can god create a rock he can't lift?
" and if he can't create one he can't lift, then god cannot do everything" well that doesn't really matter since we know jehovah says himself he cannot lie right?

I want to reply on some of the comments regarding this post. If you want to simplify the fact about why God put the tree in the garden, think about this. God gave Adam and Eve everything on Earth to enjoy. If you were God and gave man and woman everything to the eye on Earth freely, how would you know they truly were appricitive of the gift? They didn't have to pray to Jehovah, they could talk with him directly then. Yes, he could see the heart but, out of all that he gave, nothing withheld, he only ask them one simple act to honor the gift by not eating the fruit from one tree. If he hadn't placed the tree there for them and later thier kids to substain from they might have ended up like the people on The Time Machine who had become lazy and unconcerned like when Weena fell in the stream and no one bothered to get up from eating to help her. There has to be respect for God and others even with free will. Man through the centuries proven they can't get along without God. That was the first Lie from Satan, that if they ate the fruit they would see they didn't need God. If you look to this day men have not changed. We certainly need God and Jesus to fix it all. When they rein over the Earth again the message will be clear, you either live good lives and not hurt each other or the animals. If you can't live by that simple rule, you again aren't showing respect to God and aren't worthy of the Sacrifice of Jesus. I understand why Jesus said to be like children. If you ask a kindergartner they would tell you the answer: Just stop fighting Wars and stop harming each other. At some point the badness of this world teaches the children to become self absorbed and hate and lose that innocent quality. You cannot deny this fact is true.

Methuselah the oldest to ever live 969 years still within God's set time of a day. But, let me throw out another tidbit based on Jesus words to the man who he told "Truly I tell you this Day, you will be with me in Paradise". Some will argue that Jesus meant the man would be in Heaven with Jesus. Witnesses will say that the comma after This Day, means he was stating to the man that he was literally telling the man That Day he would be in the restored Paradise ahead since, murderers and thieves wouldn't enter God's Kingdom. Either way you view the statement, think of this!..... I personally know that my Grandmother who was a Assembly of God member/Penticost believed as well as most other religions that Jesus WENT to Hell and suffered for 3 Days taking on all of mankind's sins. So, Which happened? Did Jesus Go to a burning Hell as most believe THAT Day? Or Did he Go to Heaven to be with the thief THAT Day? Remember, Jehovah God his father had to turn away completely from Jesus that day or he would've died. No matter where you place the comma, I think the answer can Only be he was telling the man on THAT day, he would see him again in the restored paradise.

Days of Futures Past. Thank you for your careful review of my words. It's obvious you are more knowledgeable than the majority who have posted on here. I wore my mother out with What if? Questions as a child and yes, my mind has a way of always trying to figure out how I would get out of a situation. It is true what some posted on here about Adam and Eve bring childlike in innocence before eating the fruit but, he didn't make Adam a child and he was closer to perfection even after eating the fruit unlike us so, even after the act he could have thought as I had to not fullfil the prophecy. I posted my paridox idea to see what it might Garner and it certainly is getting more replies than my previous post so, it has captured something in the process. Someone replied that God said from this very day of eating the fruit you will die so, he lied. Of course we know that was true because, from that day man aged and died. The scriptures tell us that a day to God is like a thousand years" and we know Adam lived to be over 900 years, Methuselah 969 was the oldest man who lived ever so, the age process in God's time was still a Day. Thank you for extending the imagination with your story, I am going to throw out a new Thought based on the "This Day" Theory. Let's see what response it gets?...

Giordano, the answer to your statements is that God chooses not to always look ahead, just as he allows man or angel to choose to live or hate him. That is why Satan was able to do what he wanted. God doesn't turn back time either. It's a one was street forward for everyone and it can't be said that he forces anyone to do good works only. He does have the power to fix the wrongs we cause. Did not he destroy children as young as 9 in Sodom and Gomorrah? He can restore life to those who weren't truly at fault who died because they never knew him or, were raised with sinful thoughts because of immoral parents. Jesus came of his own free will at the appointed time to right Adam's wrong. Jesus spoke of those during Noah's day paying no heed to the impending flood until it swept them away.

So I see from the many replies that this website is frequented by more Atheist than Witnesses or Christians and that's ok. If you don't even believe in Jesus then the comments about Adam and Eve being fairy tale stories proves you don't believe in Jesus who himself said " I am the last Adam" so, your comments prove you don't even know enough about Jesus to comment anyway. I see to some who replied, Star Trek is more real to you than God is. I myself believe God exist while some will deny him with the very brain he made for them. If you deny Adam existed than you deny Jesus existed too and you'd look for any reason to not be feel responsible for your own actions good or bad either way. It's slot like how those in Science must push ideas where God isn't in the equations. After all, what good is finding a new planet to make a name for yourself if God made it ? With everything that exist around us it would be too many coincidences to not have had a creator. I could never deny that fact no matter how bad the world will get. It's all going to show man that Satan's Original Lie wasn't true, that man really doesn't need God to make the right choices. Man has failed for centuries to end Wars or world problems. The first lie will become apparent to everyone through time that felt they didn't need God or simply didn't believe he existed. -

I'm going to be the first and throw this out there for others but, from careful study of the scriptures I've found a loophole that even Adam who was perfect at the time missed! I'm sure everyone has heard the conundrum about ,"Can God create a Rock he can't lift?" And if he can't create one he can't lift, then God cannot do everything" Well that doesn't really matter since we know Jehovah says himself he cannot lie right? Sure he could lie but, he chooses not to right? He also chooses to not turn back faults in time or even look ahead to see if something he created ( like the angels, Satan, Man will one day stumble) Right? Well here's a Paradox that could have happened where Adam could have still been Alive to this day! Sure, we all know that Satan used his position to throw a wrench in Jehovah's Cogwheel of plans for all creation but, did you know Adam could have at one moment in time have even bested Satan and actually been the only one who could have made Jehovah's words prove false!!?
Here is what Adam could have done!..
Remember how Adam also ate from the tree of Knowledge and Jehovah told him "Did you not remember my saying upon eating of the fruit, from that day you will surely die?" Well, Adam and Eve had to be cast out of the Garden of Eden after that so they couldn't also then eat from the other tree, the Tree of Life or, they would have continued living. But, really Adam had a better weapon than the tree of Life which at that one point of time he could have used and still been alive today! HOW SO?? Well, remember how Satan told the first Lie that lead to Jehovah uttering the first prophesy about the snake being bruised in the head and man bruised in the heel? This prophecy depended on Adams line of children so that one day Jesus would come through the line of man to balance everything the first man Adam had unbalanced. At the time that prophecy came from Jehovah, Adam had not yet boar a child with Eve. All the angels in Heaven were watching and saw what Satan had done to challenge Jehovah and Jehovah gave all free will to do as they wished too. He didn't make robots to do his bidding right? So at that moment, Adam could have weighed his options and concerning his Everlasting life ending, could have told Jehovah: " You have said Jehovah that from the day of my eating of the fruit I will truly die". My wife Eve was truly deceived but, I knew. However Jehovah, I understand now I sinned and I feel shame were I was innocent before. So, I ask that you forgive us this once and I will take this new knowledge I've learned and do better. You have said to me from this day I will die" then let me die this very day and then ressurect me tomorrow morning and let me prove to have learned from this once and continue better. But, if you choose to me grow old and die from this day on, then with my everlasting life in the balance I Will NOT bare a child with Eve and with all watching from heaven your Prophesy from your mouth will prove to be untrue"! If I grow old and die, your prophecy will not happen and your word will prove to be the second Lie" And you have said you cannot Lie". So you have only the option technically to have me die this very day so your words stay True and then you can ressurect me or, with everyone watching show you don't really give us free will and put doubt into their minds too that you created us to push around to do your bidding and have no choice!". So, there is the Paradox everyone, at that one moment 6,000 years ago Adam had the ability to have stuck it to Jehovah even more so than Satan. If Adam had given some thought to it with his perfect mind, Jehovah would have had to do Man's bidding or his word would have became a lie! " Never since that one point in time has anyone has anyone had Jehovah truly against the wall. And just an added point, had Adam chose to kill Eve and or himself, that too would have created a Paradox so, Jehovah would have had to have let Adam live on until he chose to if ever have a child with Eve. Think about that one! Sounds like a good Sci-Fi story or something from Star Trek huh? Bet it has you thinking now?!!....

Jehovah's house for Sale?
by JohnTron72 inwhen i drive by the kingdom hall i grew up attending at but, was sold directly to a church, i get angry.
the elders who handled the sale didn't even remove the watchtower shaped bricks on each side of the sign near the street so, now they advertise for a baptist church.
how many times as i grew up i heard things like: you should not do work ( such as clean carpets for a church) you wouldn't want to work at a cigarette making plant or a facility that makes bombs for the military.

Stillin, I understand the sentiment about brick and mortar buildings aren't the real house of Jehovah but, you answered nothing about how the Kingdom Halls being sold mainly to becoming Churches is acceptable ? If you were at a dedicated after a Kingdom Hall was built and Dedicated as God's house, would time change the fact that selling it to False Religion to teach false religion inside is wrong? Would selling a Kingdom Hall to become a Penticostal Church the next day after building one, be any less wrong then 10 years ? It's the blatant fact that money exchanged directly merits wrong doing in God's name but, none should question it's being done every week or month? What about the scripture that days 'He that is faithful in least is faithful in much"? Is it acceptable that anyone should think of Jehovah's Kingdom Halls once built using free labor, as Financial gain as long a Church of Satan has ample cash? If your answer is so lax as to say it doesn't really matter, then really WHAT about Christian Integrity really Does matter?

When I drive by the Kingdom Hall I grew up attending at but, was Sold directly to a church, I get angry. Yet, it's ok to change hands of money directly to false religion so they can teach others Christendom's false religion and in affect, aid others to die at Armageddon? There is a double standard when it comes to this fact. In fact, there are 3 Kingdom hallls in my town that have also sold them directly to other churches knowingly so, it's the most common practice obviously. Well maintained Kingdom halls built with free labor and dedicated in Jehovah's name being sold directly to Satan's religions? Let me ask this way, if you were to hand a knife you personally as a Witness made to someone you knew was going to stab a child, wouldn't you be blood guilty? Then why is it ok to knowingly sell Kingdom halls to false religion which, will lead thousands of others to Satan's religions? Jesus got angry and turned over the tables of those making his Father's house a den of thieves outside the synagogue. What would he have thought if he saw his Father's houses sold to Roman Catholics or even a Satanic Temple just because the offer was good? Do halls built and dedicated to Jehovah suddenly just become fair market value with no concern who uses them,? What would Jesus Say?
