  Once again you demonstrate why reading an article written by conservative Christians that is critiquing a scientific study isn't a good use of your limited amount of free time. The actual study makes a good case against the what it is you are suggesting the study states.

  JW's rely on 'spiritual food' from the FDS and we see where that gets the average JW with regards to a basic understanding of science (for 1 example). You, yet again, are demonstrating exactly the same behaviour as the JWs by relying on these 3rd parties to 'feed' you your knowledge...

  Although there is no evidence of actual offences occurring in the context you present it is certainly reasonable to suggest with a reasonable level of certainty that there have been unreported abuse based on the rate of disclosed offenses over a similar period previously. Unless, of course, we should think that it is reasonable to assume that all abuse is being reported.

  Why are you talking about Trump as if that is the topic of this thread? That makes no sense.

  What has Greek Mythology got to do with Islam? The former is obviously myth, the latter has many millions of followers that actually believe all that nonsense and will go as far as to commit atrocities because they believe they are copying the example set by the perfect human, Mohammed. Was there a point to you bringing that up? If it was a simple exercise in equivocation then I do not see why you would need to do that. If someone murders someone do you spend hours considering all other murderers to see if they are really so bad after all or do you deal with that murderer based on that persons actions.

  What colours was Spoletta using again? Seemed to me that this poster was stating that those who question Islam are Islamophobic and then crying about being attacked for being called on such a daft statement. Now that is a black/white way of looking at things.

  If you really do disagree with something why don't you try actually giving a constructive rebuttal that we can all understand, digest and consider.

  First you attempt a moral equivalence argument about violence being commited in all communities, yet you fail to address the flaw of that logic which is the cultural reasons (underpinned by Islam) and general acceptance of such practices within the Islamic communities.

  You finish off that argument by saying:

  But you don't point out what exactly is "Islamophobic". Are you suggesting talking about what is happening is wrong? Don't you like the fact that a portion of our community has serious cultural/religious problems?

  Then your parting short is:

  "Have a good time attacking anyone who comes to these threads that doesn't agree that Islam and Muslims are beyond redemption."

  Were you trying to show how Islam isn't the only religion to have problems with its adherents? I think we all would agree that all religions (and non-religious organisations) can harbour those that take advantage of its teachings. However this equivalence you are pushing falls short in explaining just why it is far and away more widespread within the Islamic community than anywhere else. We even see evidence that it is not just confined to the poor and under-educated.

  Your list goes back over many years. Would you like to discuss the events over the last month to get some perspective here?
