Why would Jehovah God write the Ten Commandments on two tablets of stone ,in the first place ?
by smiddy3 ini mean to say he is the creator of the universe isn`t he ?
so why would he use such a method that is subject to crumbling over time ?.
i remember a jw talk/mag.

How the #$%^ did Moses climb a freakin’ MOUNTAIN in nothing but a robe & sandals? AND how the #$%^ did he climb back down carrying 2 big stones???
Ask any mountaineer today, even equipped with the best gear technology can provide, to climb a mountain, pick up 2 big rocks, & climb back down, & they’ll tell you to get stuffed.
Just sayin’ -

Moses comes back down the mountain with the tablets in his arms. He bellows out to the Hebrews, “Do not murder. Do not steal. Respect your parents.” The Hebrews reply, “You went all the way up a @#$%& mountain to tell us THAT???!!! What an a**hole!”

Prayers ,are they answered ? or is it just self delusion ?
by smiddy3 inafter 33 years as a jw and leaving 25 years ago i think prayer can be summed up with the jews praying at the wailing wall.. all they are doing is talking to a brick wall ,and getting no feed back.
and they expect an answer to their prayers ?!.
christians /other beliefs might find that funny but they are no better off.. prayer is always a one way street you talk either vocally or mentally to god however you never get the same back .. if god " so loved the world that he doesnt want any to be destroyed but have everlasting life " then whats the problem with him audibly answering his servants prayers ?

Sincere and devout people equally seek God's will and pray to God for guidance, wisdom and understanding yet they come up with different beliefs.
If one God with one viewpoint existed, we would expect that he would answer their prayers by communicating the same ideas, beliefs, and practices to all so that they would all believe the same thing.

God didn't even answer his own prayer (if Jesus is God) or the prayer of his perfect son (if Jesus is just God's son) with whom he has a special relationship.
Shortly before his death, Jesus prayed:
John 17:20-21:
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
Yet there are approximately 47,000 Christian denominations with different beliefs as of 2017 according to the Center for the study of Global Christianity (http://www.gordonconwell.edu/ockenga/research/documents/StatusofGlobalChristianity2017.pdf).
If Jesus' prayer has not been answered then why should anyone believe Jesus' promises about prayer when he said:
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it shall be opened........"(Luke 11).
Or, "Whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the father may be glorified in the son. If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it (John 14)"?

The CO had me alter my experience so much that . . . . --------Silent Knight
One year after my baptism at age 16, I was asked to give my experience as a baptized youth at the district convention.
I was given the questions by the brother who would be giving the talk. On presenting him with my answers, he told me that they were too long for the time allotted.
After shortening my responses he then tried to get me to adjust the wording to be more like the WT's pre-prepared answers. He finally gave me the WT's pre-prepared answers and asked me to just use them as my own - the WT's pre-prepared answers were nothing like my own.

Now Synchronicity on the other hand well that is a different related subjects that I'm still trying to work out--------Brokeback Watchtower
I once heard a simplified "layman" explanation of synchronicity: a person experiences a thought and then it becomes reality (shortly) thereafter. I guess this is what happens to people when they become psychic/clairvoyant.

Prayer of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (Parmesan be upon him):
"Our pasta,
Who art in strainer,
Whole wheat be thy grain.
Al-Dente done,
Thy sauce be yum,
At home, for dinner at seven.
Give us some wine,
Some garlic bread.
And forgive us our slurping,
As we forgive those,
Who talk with their mouths full.
And lead us not into overdone-ness
But deliver us from mush.
For Thine is the meatball,
The sauce and the pasta,
Forever and ever,
RAmen.
