I consider myself inoculated because I am a reinstated person who made a conscious choice to return and who actually was encouraged to return by the attitudes and behavior of apostates, or the ‘ridiculers with their ridicule.’ Witnesses have the best available understanding of the Bible. With that said, there is good in some schools of thought, such as ‘A Course in Miracles,’ the writings of various mystics, and there is sound healthy psychology available in some Eastern teachings. I think this is why the brother said it would be ‘presumptuous’ to claim that they were God’s only spokespersons on Earth curing the ARC. And I’m ‘up’ on the child molestation, actually from the inside, my father was an opportunistic molester, and the brotherhood does the best it can with a very complicated situation. I was around for ’75, too. I’m not in for big debates, but I’ll chime is as the spirit moves me. (An expression, lol….)
