Because that ain’t wrong
What have you read to support your statement?! There are more than 5000 archaeological documents that prove that date wrong!!!
What about my other questions?
i don’t understand how jehovah’s witnesses can rightly claim:.
that less than 150,000 faithful christians existed prior to the 20th century....when allegedly millions were martyred during the first 3 centuries of the common era alone.
unique ability to interpret scripture...when interpretation of prophecy has been 100% wrong for over 130 years.. .

And they corrected it.
Like they corrected the child abuse situations? The wrong date of 1914 in connection with the wrong date of the destruction of Jerusalem? Are you saying that God doesn't know what He wants to say when he tells His people what to say in His name? Did God and Jesus tell us to worry about dates? Did they tell us to focus on preaching and not care for for elderly, the weak, the poor, the ill...? Did they tell us that the most important thing is a piece of paper with a bunch of hours per month?! That's how we assess spirituality... Can God lie, like the WT does all the time?! Did Jesus tell us to be arrogant and presumptuous like the WT/GB are?

That is right. JW are fulfilling Bible prophecy.
Yes, they are, they are the false prophet!

Oh boy, so many questions!!! You cannot pose questions!!! Don't you know that already?!
a lot of my ex fellow servants must be now in their seventies, what can you do?.
no children no money no home.
it is so sad.. so many decided not to have children as the end was right around the corner and that was decades ago.
Very sad indeed...
gb worried about not enough coming to in person meetings.
what are they going to be like when they realise not only jdubs don’t want to go to in person meetings but they really don’t want to go back on the min.
zoom has so much more appeal for rather than meetings or door to door.
No worries about any of that anymore!!!

Hi everybody!
The situation with my wife is calm now. I think she understood my point of view and, for now, she will remain a PIMO.
Our younger daughter is another subject... She is aware of some of the issues in the JWs and we'll go on trying to help her see the whole picture calmly.
Time will solve the problem, I hope.

@jwundubbed
Thank you for your advice.
Later today I'll try to share some more info that might help understand a little better how I feel.

@Vanderhoven7
Yes, you're right. And that's the reason why it hurts so much to see my loved ones still cooperating with this evil corporation! They are wasting our precious time...

@Smiles
Thanks, again, for your words!
I didn't tell you, but I'm already out. And I slammed the door on Watchtower with some noise! Not by being unpleasant or impolite but because I made questions and statements regarding their "truth" through a letter that I made public. (I'm a teacher in a small town and I don't want people to think I'm still a JW.)
The question now is only about preserving my family and helping them see that they need to leave too. And I need to preserve my sanity also... Because, as you know, being shunned by all the JWs and feeling that they still have so much power over those you love feels a bit like knowing that your wife is sleeping with your enemy (sorry for the image but it conveys the idea).
