In fact, Jesus would not have died had his heavenly father not forsook him.and he had no power other than being a human when he died. Are you saying God can die ? There are some things impossible. Journeyman, thank you for your indepth reply to my comment. This site has censored or even deleted my previous comments regarding this subject. I started years back stating this possible outcome instead of the UN theory and the feedback was negative in most aspects, including some asking me if Jehovah had told me this personally. However, the GB doesn't get answers from Jehovah to print, they take a vote and then decide what they agree upon to publish. I don't see how this is speaking for Jehovah. I just think foresight can designate how an outcome is possible other than what some believe. I would say that the two points of interest you stated are indeed possible motives for the turn on Religion that have little to do with a Russia or United Nations oppression. Thanks for your input ! We are now 23 Years past Armageddon as the GB stated
by JohnTron7 inso the end was going to come by 2000 as documented in the magazines back in the late 80's early 90's.. so how did they get the time off so badly ( over two decades and still nothing) since the gb is jehovah's earthly mouthpiece right ?

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
by JohnTron7 ini saw in the news where a teacher got mad at a student for coming in late during the pledge of allegiance and threw them against a wall and so the student was suing.. this made me want to ask, jehovah's witnesses stand up during the pledge of allegiance along with everyone else.
why is that ok but, it wasn't ok for shadrach , meshach and abednego to bow down to the king's idol ?
if the command had been for everyone who was sitting to stand at attention for the idol, wouldn't that have been the same thing ?

Neat Blue Dog,. Are you saying that if everyone had been seated , and the king said " All Stand to show you worship my idol" that would have been alright for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to do ?

If the command had been for everyone who was sitting to stand at attention for the idol, wouldn't that have been the same thing ? I realize they will say it's just a way to show they recognize the government is only in it's position because of God but, wouldn't the act of standing/bowing visibly show everyone that you are in agreement with that authority ? After all, the Pledge of Allegiance states it's one nation under God. By standing isn't that the same as showing subjection to the nation ?

by lancelink inthis afternoon i drove by an old hall i attended ( barrington illinois) and noticed that it had been sold, it is now an adventist .
church !
now here is my drive-home thinking.. back in the 80's when i attended i was newly married, and had a young child.
