everyone is different. Me I learn a lot by hands on while the guy next to me does great learning with books, while the next guy needs someone to explain the subject at hand to them before they can grasp something new

hall crash
by intrigue169 ini live in the des moines iowa area , i would be interested in doing a kingdom hall crash after watching some on youtube, i would love to do that with a group of people.
i haven't meet any other ex jw around here.
i was never baptized, i always knew i could never live up to jehovah's standard so i never did even consider baptizing.

Help: Anyone identify Gary Breaux's ring?

wearing a ring on the pinky finger represents Aries, the god of War in some beliefs LOL!!!
people that wear on that figure tend to be domineering over others and want to rule over others...
That's not the governing body at all so it can not be true

It sucks too love boxing and being in a JW family
by Akid48 induring this new year i started to love boxing and i can only really do is shadowbox which is good training, but i really want to do more.
now you might be thinking ''why the heck would this kid take a likeing in boxing when he is in a jw family?
''well thats the point of this post it sucks that i cant do a sport that i like and i want to spend time doing because jw's dont let you do sports and dear god you wont be able to do something like boxing.. (i just made this because i just wanted to talk about this and some of you will understand if you wanted too do sports but you couldnt because you where a part of a jw family).

maybe just honestly say that you are terrified of ever being disfellowshipped and that it is a life long commitment more so than marriage and Jesus was 30 when he got baptized which is when the Jews view someone as a fully mature man

try to keep them in the role of teacher, maybe asking a few easy questions first

Like you are pulled from an accident and will probably be dead by morning. you lived a very sinful life and want to be saved before death, and have all your sins forgiven. what must you do?

Image: Great Tribulation
by OrphanCrow inthe org's fear theme has really been emphasized recently- the bunker video and now the convention video with jws being pursued by guys with assault rifles.
this image comes from the watchtower july 2017 questions from readers: would it be fitting for a christian to keep a firearm, such as a handgun or a rifle, for protection against other humans?.
the caption for the image is this: during the great tribulation, christians will rely on jehovah and not try to defend themselves.

I think if that picture was from the org at all, all the men would be wearing a suit and tie

Removing scriptures and numbering
by carla inrecently there was a thread https://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/5596141447020544/nwt-1984-vs-nwt-2013.
and kairos mentioned the following-.
i am baffled that john 8:1-12 was removed from their bible.it's a verse that makes judging and shunning impossible if you claim to be christian.".
-

that was Wescott and Horde that removed them not watchtower I believe. those were the catholic manuscripts used for NWT . I might be wrong I was comparing a few different bibles online that had the same exact verses removed

I could do that if my mother shunned ever but she will not do that to her only son who isn't baptized.
what I could do is go to a hall that nobody knows me and act like I'm curious and ask one or two questions that they can't answer just to plant small seeds of doubt and maybe even say something like where is the donation plate that gets passed at every church to bring the guard down
