Put simply, we cannot be certain whether Jesus actually stood in the temple or he did so only by means of a vision. At times, both possibilities have been presented in our publications.

Consider first what the Bible record says. In his Gospel account of this event, the apostle Matthew was inspired to write: “Then the Devil took him [Jesus] along into the holy city, and he stationed him on the battlement [“parapet; highest point,” ftn.] of the temple.” (Matt. 4:5) Luke’s parallel account puts it this way: “He then led him into Jerusalem and stationed him on the battlement of the temple.”—Luke 4:9.

So the Org is saying we dont know for sure if it was just a vision or if Jesus really did appear at the temple?

wt teaches that rev 18:11 applies to "big business" mourning the demise of false religion, as they were essentially losing their best customer(s).. the last reference to this concept that i could find is 1993 wt.

also weeping and mourning over her are greedy men of commerce, traveling merchants .

It is true that many if not most wars are about religion and I would say most of the problems in the world are about religion.

Yes governments and big corporations always profit, if it be from arms or controlling other aspects.

it used to be accommodation for a few thousand permanent residents, now its looking like less than a thousand permanent with the possibility of a few thousand more in temporary accommodation should the need arise.. some say the plans are going to be like a garden of eden in england :) i mean they had farming in london over the years but this is going to be epic what they are planning for temple farm at chelmsford.. they are planting thousands (literally) of fruit trees, including tropical fruits in huge green houses, huge vines yards and then the same basic farming activities as before.

I know for a fact that they at first bought around 82 Acres, then after at a latter date they have bought hundreds more acres.

I dont know for a fact that they are building something secret underground, but thats what it looks like.

They reduced the number from 1000s to only 30 key people, and of those 30, most are not allowed into the earth moving site.

have you been paying much attention to the contamination issue at Warwick? did you read about the crane crash there? do you realise the amount of rectification work on KH builds all over the world that is required due to unqualified and unskilled workers taking on jobs the are completely ill equipped to do so, costing many thousands of £$? per congregation, have you ever been to the Bows Road Assembly Hall? LOL !

Yes I go to Bows Road twice a year, its a beautiful place. I have volunteered on building projects since I was very young, I think you are wrong to disagree with me that the KH's and Assembly halls and Bethel buildings are often times the most beautiful buildings in the areas?

Can anybody find out the truth about all that land? some are saying the worldly farmers are going to be farming it for the Jw's? Some others are saying no it will all be farmed by the volunteers? Can anybody find out the truth from somebody who knows?

The bunker theory you have concocted is just leveling of existing inclines in order to keep to the planned 15m max building height. All in the plans. Again.

Then why the top secrecy? Sounds like excellent cover to say we are just levelling inclines or something. There is a lot of serious earth moving equipment for just levelling off.

Why did they reduce from 1000s of people to just 30 key members for this levelling off?

I don't know, but one of the 30 people stil there is volunteering for security and he was showing someone at my KH some pictures on his phone, and he said "I wasn't allowed any closer than this, I don't know why"

This is nothing new, Jehovahs Witnesses Buildings have always been the best and most beautiful in the areas.

Even in poor countires the Bethal is always the nicest building in the country, along with the palaces etc...

The real reason Chelmsford hasn't been stopped

i haven't seen this mentioned yet.

last year in the uk, shortly after the money grab that everyone had, we had a video and letter (both probably still available from atlantis) appealing for money for the new bethel and slips were handed out etc.

this means that most uk congregations are sending a regular donation specifically for the chelmsford build.
