imagine if we had an opportunity today to ask any of the faithful disciples this question.. who resurrected jesus?.
what would their response be... if they still remembered what jesus said in john 2:19-22.
19 jesus replied to them: “tear down this temple, and in three days i will raise it up.”+ 20 the jews then said: “this temple was built in 46 years, and will you raise it up in three days?” 21 but he was talking about the temple of his body.+ 22 when, though, he was raised up from the dead, his disciples recalled that he used to say this,+ and they believed the scripture and what jesus had spoken.. .
JWs would only say the father. Her the disciples are saying Jesus. Since reading this and thinking about it. Well I've not been able to stop thinking about it.
Not once did I ever see this or speak to anyone about these scriptures.
These are explosive for me.

I think that they would say Jesus resurrected his own body, as he said in the above scriptures.
Your thoughts everyone :)
the one who is standing away is apostate (literally "to stand off," from apo- "away from" + stenai "to stand").
ironically, proponents of untruth may call truth-seekers as apostates, thus making the term meaningless.. for example, paul, the greatest of all apostles, taught untruth (stood away from truth) [see his main teaching in romans 5:12-21] even though he had known the following truths:.
1) all humans did not become sinners through one man (genesis 5:24; job 1:8; psalm 18:23; ezekiel 14:14 and compare habakkuk 2:4), hence there was no need for anyone to pay ransom.. 2) in the old testament, the messiah refers to a “prince of peace” who literally rules from jerusalem, not merely anointed to the office to do the work in some distant future and get killed before that future occurs.
Anybody who walks away from this organization after everything that is now public knowledge is alright in my book.

an inquiry will be held into the contaminated blood scandal that left at least 2,400 people dead, the prime minister has confirmed.. it will establish the causes of the "appalling injustice" that took place in the 1970s and 1980s.
nhs patients were given blood products that were infected with diseases, such as hepatitis c and hiv.. families of those who died will be consulted about what form the inquiry should take.. it could be a public hillsborough-style inquiry or a judge-led statutory inquiry, prime minister theresa may confirmed.. the prime minister's spokesman said: "it is a tragedy that has caused immeasurable hardship and pain for all those affected and a full inquiry to establish the truth of what happened is the right course of action to take.. "it is going to be a wide-ranging inquiry.".
My mum rang me saying watch the news, she even went as far as saying she was going to record it. OMG!
But well spotted (Splash) that this could have affected them too.

They will be rubbing their hands over this one.
But what's the figure of JW's dying because of refusing blood in the first place. Much higher than the figures coming out of this blood scandal. But it's shocking how incompetent the NHS have been over this.
take a ride with me back to 1987. picture yourself in your town, or city centre.
remember the clothes people wore, the hairstyles etc.... now imagine yourself doing your ministry out on the street, engaging with people, speaking with them, striking up conversations.
now, how would you feel, and what would you say, if you noticed two people appear nearby with a cart.
It's the same with the name JW's. I remember my mum over 20 years ago speaking to an ex brother. I think hes now a born again Christian. When he referred to the witnesses as JW's well hahaha. My mum said "Frank, were not JW's were Jehovah's Witnesses."
Your JW's now and that is shocking that this is something she accepts.
so i was thinking, now jw.org uses two other bible translations/versions on their website.. can we not use the two witness rule regarding certain doctrines.
for example john 1:1 this is absolutely amazing to me that they would have two bibles for jesus being god.
but only one bible, their own translation in support of jesus being a god.

But only one bible, their own translation in support of Jesus being a god. In my eyes that's a win for Jesus being God. Score 2 to 1 in favor, and found on their own website.
This could be done with many other verses that Watchtower has changed, just take them to their own website and show 2 bibles that disagree with what JW's believe.

Now, how would you feel, and what would you say, if you noticed two people appear nearby with a cart. They begin to unpack and get it ready. You keep an eye on them as your talking to someone, showing them a scripture from your bible.
You notice they are Christians from a nearby church, promoting their literature. But they are just sat there on the bench. One is wearing sunglasses, they are both facing away from the cart, paying no interest in it whatsoever. How would you back then, and how would other witnesses have reacted to the cart and this couples attempt at preaching?
