  What changes would stabilize JW membership?

  i've seen many topics about how things are changing or might be changing in jw doctrine/culture.

  some have extrapolated how those changes would result in declining jw membership.

  i'm curious to know what changes others think would stabilize those numbers.

  Proclaim that the paradise has arrived! Then do the house to house trying not to get any home more like one or twice a year, a.k.a don't bother people. Be more social to keep the bonds of the flock together, made a festival, bingos, potlucks, a place for the little ones. But, wait, with all that two or three congs in one KH that's a dream.

  if the society was right and armageddon came a knocking would you want to live in a society run by the org and bully elders.. would rather die at armageddon.

  They said "we do not try to find a symbolic meaning or future fullfillment in every Bible account" back in ws 3/2015, when they were talking about types and antitypes. So I agree, 1914 is gonna to begin to disappear from their 'up to date' publications. It's maybe the last Russellian thing.

  all the money grab,selling, consolidation of kh, real estate scam , who is the one who benefits from this elaborate scam, what's the deal ?

  who is the mastermind, do the gb or whoever really runs the show really believe what they sell.

  Overwhelmed

  does anyone else feel overwhelmed on what to believe?.

  i've been doing lots of research on beliefs, evolution, creationism but i feel no further forward about what i truly believe.

  for example i looked at the fossil record and tiktaalic and thought great it proves a lot but then i've seen counter arguments on youtube of people basically saying its a load of rubbish and doesn't prove anything.

  Yeah, yeah ..he seems to have an Alzheimer's early onset breaking that glass....but seriously...if wordly institutions are so evil....why don't WT put a nice college to form doctors, engineers, lawyers, etc.? It's ironic because they need qualified people, as many in this thread have said...and don't tell me that there's no money.

  hi guys, long time without paying a visit to this site.

  today i returned to check a 'gossip' that is running around in brazilian exjw forums.. they are stating that is almost certain they will make a big change in their doctrine maybe this year yet in the annual meeting.

  they say people in warwick were commenting on this.

  From a good source....just one weekly meeting !

  Two hours long, and because of KH consolidation you could choose, midweek or weekend! Also monthly social potlucks, and playgrounds for the little ones !
