Im sick of my life
by BlackWolf insorry but i really feel like i need to rant right now.
recently my dad was made an elder so my family has been doing a lot more "theocratic" activities lately.
every morning i wake up and put on my itchy dress and stupid makeup and heels and then pretend that i love what i'm doing and that everybody is my friend when in reality i feel horrible and all the other teenage girls at my hall hate me for some reason.

They have been implying mental issues for those partaking "mistakenly" since at least 2003.
For instance, some might ask themselves: ‘Do I use medications that affect my emotions? Am I inclined to have deep emotions that I could misjudge?’ (par 20)

Making the 144k figurative doesn't mean they'd suddenly have to believe everyone is going to heaven. They would keep their two-class system, and just put heavy emphasis on the 144,000evidently meaning the number of Christians with a heavenly hope would be a very small subset in contrast with the "great crowd".
The concept of paradise earth is one of the most appealing aspects of the Witnesses to the majority of those who sign up. Thus, you'd still have the vast majority holding to that hope. The percentage of partakers would definitely spike, no question. But I think it would stabilize rather quickly. Probably no more than 5%, quite likely less than that.Stop giving them ideas.

This would be a great way to build up a skill and then get a job that may allow you to move out when you're old enough and support yourself while you continue your education in some form or fashion.
I concur with The Listener, et. al., and know from personal experience that learning skills like that can help you support yourself. Excellent suggestion!

Christians and Atheists have something in common. Christians are atheists to Zeus, Thor, Odin, Osiris, Ra and Molech. Atheists don't believe in those god's either...they just believe in one less god than Christians. -

Would a loving creator give humans the gift of free will?
by Heisenberg inthey say ignorance is bliss... well, i wish that god did not give adam free will.
i am ok to not have free will if it means i will live forever in perfect paradisiac conditions.it has been explained that free will is a gift from god.

James...show me one scripture that refers to those commandments as the "10 commandments."
The term "10 commandments" is a colloquialism. The commandments colloquially referred to as "The Ten Commandments" are a part of the Mosaic Law.
I assume that since you think we should follow the 10 commandments, we should observe the Sabbath? Because that was one of the commandments.

A sincere message to those from the organisation monitoring my posts....
by stuckinarut2 inso, i know there are some from my congregation or from bethel who monitor my posts..... maybe you're looking for something to catch me out?.
just a question: rather than trying to find fault with me, have you stopped and looked into the issues or facts about the organisation that caused me to come to a place like this forum??.
facts are there for anyone to find nowadays....one just has to be willing to pull their head out of the sand.....

God gives solid evidence to people to experience so they can put their mind at ease and have hope -at least that is what I have personally experienced and I am not any more special than anyone.
That's great! Can you be more specific about the nature of that evidence?

neat blue dog: I know personally (in real life) one poster on here that is having his account monitored. They're looking to find proof that it is in fact him so he can be dealt with.
