Evolution can't explain why Han Solo had to be frozen in Carbonite! Therefore, Evolution isn't true! -

Evolution doesn’t explain an orderly universe with suitable physical laws, A fine-tuned universe, including initial conditions and physical parameters necessary for carbon-based life, a suitable planet, such as Earth, orbiting a suitable star and capable of supporting life and the existence of life in the first place.
Evolution is the study of speciation and has nothing to do with cosmology or abiogenesis. So, in that sense, you are correct. Evolution doesn't explain these things because by definition it doesn't attempt to explain those things.
It also doesn’t explain the self-awareness of man and how one creature seems to have domain over this planet.
Yes, it does. Natural selection. A species that is self-aware is more likely to survive and dominate over a species that is not self aware.
If you want to talk about one creature having domain over this planet, I suggest you look at insects. At any time, it is estimated that there are some 10 quintillion (10,000,000,000,000,000,000) individual insects alive.
Believing in something that exists outside of time and space isn’t really as unreasonable as it sounds.
It's not unreasonable if you have evidence for what you're claiming. Do you?

I forgot: Which one of them is BANNED from even posting on this forum anymore because of their antics, lying, bullying, and hard-pigheadedness? 'Nuff said.
I only call it as I see it.
Simon can ban anyone he pleases for any reason. That's the prerogative of being the boss.
Just because someone isn't banned doesn't mean they're not full on Gomer Pyle mixed with Christian Evangelical craziness and irrational.
There are plenty of people on this forum that are sane and plenty that "need a little help" if you get what I mean. There are also people on this forum that "give apostates a bad name."

Sorry, WingCommander, but Kim and Mikey aren't just "a bit more country."
They're full on Gomer Pyle mixed with Christian Evangelical craziness.
On the rationality front, Cedars wins hands down.
On the ego front, Cedars vs Kim 'n Mikey, they're neck and neck.

A TRUTH isn't always the same thing as a FACT.
A truth can sometimes be subjective and can depend on the persons point of view.
A fact is always a fact, no matter the perspective.
Truth: "It's cold outside!"
Fact: "It is 50 degrees Farenheit outside."For some people, 50 degrees F is cold, so staying, "It's cold outside!" is a truth...for them and others like them. However, someone from Siberia might think 50 degrees is quite warm.
That's why it's important to deal with facts and not truths.

Im sick of my life
by BlackWolf insorry but i really feel like i need to rant right now.
recently my dad was made an elder so my family has been doing a lot more "theocratic" activities lately.
every morning i wake up and put on my itchy dress and stupid makeup and heels and then pretend that i love what i'm doing and that everybody is my friend when in reality i feel horrible and all the other teenage girls at my hall hate me for some reason.

They have been implying mental issues for those partaking "mistakenly" since at least 2003.
For instance, some might ask themselves: ‘Do I use medications that affect my emotions? Am I inclined to have deep emotions that I could misjudge?’ (par 20)

Making the 144k figurative doesn't mean they'd suddenly have to believe everyone is going to heaven. They would keep their two-class system, and just put heavy emphasis on the 144,000evidently meaning the number of Christians with a heavenly hope would be a very small subset in contrast with the "great crowd".
The concept of paradise earth is one of the most appealing aspects of the Witnesses to the majority of those who sign up. Thus, you'd still have the vast majority holding to that hope. The percentage of partakers would definitely spike, no question. But I think it would stabilize rather quickly. Probably no more than 5%, quite likely less than that.Stop giving them ideas.
