How do you know those stories in movies, books, songs and websites are true?

What makes you think any of these "filmed and recorded" occurrences are anything other than hoaxes? Do you believe the so-called evidence UFO "enthusiasts" present? How about the evidence for Bigfoot? Theres a lot of stories on websites and in films and books about Bigfoot. Does that mean Bigfoot exists?

I could go on, but do you see my point?

Given the Lord of the Rings, it records miracles and Gandalf's control and manipulation of physical laws of the universe; hence Gandalf transcends space and time and reality exerting his influence over everything that is real. WE could get closer to Gandalf than that It is something you must experience for yourself. What I meant to say is that the universe has measurable properties and predictions can be made from those measurements and those results are true while Gandalf concurrently exerts his influence over the physical universe without affecting those results. Gandalf can remarkably transcend time and space and reality. The greatest pleasure any man can experience is not physical pleasure but a real relationship with Gandalf.

Yes they can. I may not vote in the general election this year because I don't like either candidate. I don't want Hilary and I don't want Trump. I don't like any of the 3rd party candidates either. So, what about my situation means that I can't complain? That's ludicrous.

A true majority actually has to win - What a concept!

Someone forgot about 2000.

It is possible for someone to win the popular vote and not win the electoral college.

And I think liberals far underestimate how many people out there would actually vote for Trump. Trump is in a virtual tie (within the margin of error) with Hilary nationwide in many polls.

Sanders is the Democrats only sure chance to beat Trump.

I'm going to start this comment with a disclaimer: I am not a trump supporter...I feel the Bern.

Let's get real...not all of Trump's supporters are racist. In fact, all the ones on my FB friends list I know support Trump are good people. That SNL video is just one big SJW Ad Hominem attack. "We don't like Trump and we don't like that he's being taken seriously, so we're going to call all of his supporters Nazis and KKK racists."

The supporters I've actually spoken to, face to face, are just people that are mad at establishment politicians. They view voting for Trump as a way to send a message to Washington that they're tired of the status quo.

In fact, there's like 2 black guys here at my office that are Trump supporters.

All the hispanics here at my office seem to be Trump supporters as well.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is we look no different than his supporters, and we play into his rhetoric, when we resort to arguments that bear no substance other than, "racist! bigot! misogyny! nazi!"

It is 5am and I still can't sleep. Contemplating life, doing research on religion, world history, science...

my husband is still asleep but he will get up in about an hour for work so i'm going to quickly tell you my inconclusive conclusion.

i don't know if i can believe in god anymore.

i have come to the simple conclusion that he is either dead or evil but he is definitely not loving.

Still, a good philosophy to live by...one does not have to believe in God to be a good person...and if God would destroy a good person just because that person doesn't worship him, who would want to worship a jerk like that?)
