I was just thinking about this the other day. The Bible itself is a disgustingly violent book but Watchtower illustrates this violence in such vivid detail... and then the Branch has the audacity to try to police what people watch on television or what video games they play. I'm surprised more governments don't call them out on it when they claim "political neutrality" and "love for their fellow man" prevents them from serving in the military. "Jehovah hates violence" is what they say while showing nothing BUT violence in their books, videos and songs. The traumatic images work to the cult's advantage by keeping people "in" through fear.

The violent "My book of bible stories" not for kids!
by Witness 007 ini once left a copy with the kids of my return visit.
the next time i came she returned it to me saying it was discusting and not something kids should be reading.
i was shocked since i learnt to read using this book.

How much do Elders actually get along with each other?
by Davros ini was reading in the shepherding book that elders should “ cultivate and maintain friendships with one another.”, and thought to myself “bulls$it!” i remember that most of the elders in my old congregation were nothing but nasty asses.
i know it may vary from congregation to congregation, but do elders generally get along with each other behind closed doors in elders meetings?
or, are they often in conflict with each other?

They often don't get along. I spent 18 years around the organization and from what I've seen, elders hate each other as much as the publishers do 😂😂😂

what happened to petra was not the fault of mark o'donnell, listener, corney, mike and kim, or anyone else.. constant rejection and shunning even at an early age, the depression was storing up inside of her.
she was shunned inside the hall and outside the hall.

Please let Petra know we all are thinking about her and hope she feels better soon. Also, I'd like to recommend she obtain a light box to help her when she's feeling really depressed. I also struggle against major depressive disorder and sitting in front of the little light really helps me feel better, especially during the winter

What's Wrong with the Watchtower?

"overlapping generations" - this teaching makes no sense.
the word used by jesus is in the singular, not plural form.. .

Bringing Your Files Up To Date!
by Atlantis inseveral of the members here have written to us and remarked that they would like to bring their file folders up to date.. some believe they are missing a letter, form, or manual here or there.
so, i asked atlantis to put a folder together for me to send out to folks, so that they could bring their files up to date and fill in missing documents.. the file folder he put together has everything you can think of in it.
including the kitchen sink, bedroom slippers, and extra toilet paper just in case there is another shortage.. the folder goes back 10 years.. 2010 to 2020--06--04 right up until today.
