  Interesting... I think with Patreon, you can make posts only meant for people donating at a certain level (or higher). So with this post, only those donating at the $25/month level or higher can like/comment.

  But, as the wife just pointed out, it has no likes/comments.

  He posted at this level in November, again no likes or comments.

  This level post in October, just one comment/like.

  September, no likes/comments.

  So mehtinks that maybe he doesn't have any patrons (or maybe just the 1 or 2) at the $25 or $49.99 levels.

  If he doesn't any patrons at that level, it would explain why he "canceled" the call, but of course he had to make a post about it to make people think he's at least trying to do the bare minimum.

  I bet his 401 whopping patrons are more at the $1 and $5 level, which helps explain his panic at the freefall. Even in Croatia, $2000/month plus whatever few dollars he gets from YouTube isn't going to cut it when you've got an apartment, a full separate studio, karaoke bills, an illiterate lawyer that will bleed you dry for years, "dates" to pay for, and an expensive porn habit to maintain. I'd add spousal and child support to that list but that's probably last on his list of priorities, if he pays anything at all.

  So he was fine enough to do a video begging for funds but then suddenly has strep throat and can't do a zoom call for his $25/month patrons. If you're still giving money to this lying con artist you're just in full-blown stupid mode by now.

  I know, I know, it's considered the lowest hanging fruit to ever hurl the "you're still in the mindset of a JW" at anyone. Our version of Godwin's law by whose standards the thread has come to an end and we've lost the "argument". But in this case the comparison is just so obvious it smacks you right in the face.

  I think we can make an exception to Godwin's law here because he learned this behavior, or it was reinforced, somewhere. Home, with his mommy and daddy? Probably. But at the KH? Definitely.

  Besides, look how much it mirrors JW elder/pioneer behavior. WT literature has come right out and blamed wives for their husband's adultery by claiming they might be "withholding" the "marital due." So, if you feel sorry enough for yourself about what's going on at home, you're entitled to go boink another woman and it's the wife's fault for failing you.

  Pioneers always had their hands out for money. I remember one guy, lived at home literally in the parent's basement while pioneering, was on his way to being made elder from his teen years, and barely worked. We'd go out for fast food after a Sunday meeting, he'd order and then when the cashier told him the amount, he'd step back and say "Oh I don't have that" with an expectant look on his face. Sure enough, some pleeb would step in and pay for him. More than one pioneer expected other congregation members to fix their cars for free or pay for their repair, they never drove in service because they couldn't afford the gas, and one couple I know eventually got into trouble for keeping any donations that householders gave them at the door.

  It didn't stop with finances... one couple I know, the husband worked evenings so he was home during the day but asleep. She pioneered but homeschooled, which meant she left her preteen daughter at home to do her schoolwork herself. Literally, the kid wasn't technically alone in the house but alone with her schooling from age 5 or 6 onward. Mom would be dead before she gave up her special pioneering status and she certainly wasn't going to let a child at home get in the way of it.

  And elders expected to have their time on the platform with the enraptured crowd hanging on to their every word. Every decision should be run by them because they're somehow smarter or wiser than the average R&F. You felt so privileged to have an elder over for dinner and god help you when the CO showed up. They stayed at your house, you cooked and cleaned for them, and then slid them some money for the privilege of doing it.

  Every one of these applies to him. The arrogant ass hat elder who knows better and whom you don't dare criticize, the pioneer and traveling CO who's entitled to your financial support, and the sick pervert who gets to step out on his wife because she's somehow failing him. He's the JW hat trick.

  I think another part of the problem is that he's trying to figure out what he can offer to entice people to pay him money. As we've covered, he's out of the loop with leaks from Bethel, he doesn't have O'Donnell feeding him info on legal cases, he can't get interviews with people he thinks are heavy hitters... so what's left? Exclusive time with him and exclusive videos, that's all.

  Didn't he say sometime back that his videos would always be free? I think it was when he was crowdfunding for the book or something, and people first started an uproar over him charging for his activism. That was something he used to defend himself, like the backbone of his so-called "activism" would always be out of the kindness of his heart. Now he's got special "members only" videos and livestreams lined up for paying customers. Add that to his list of lies.

  Oh dear god, he's figured out how to monetize his YouTube channel with more than just ads. So he's tying the YouTube in with the Patreon, you can join either way, through Patreon or YT. Of course he wouldn't want to miss out on any way for people to pay him.

  Even if he apologized at this point, too much damage has been done. People can see a full year of a married man simping on IG models who wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot used pooper scooper, stubbornly claiming he was in the one area of the world known for human trafficking for the food and scuba diving, the embarrassing lashing out at Kim and the rest, all of it. For a year he's been shitting on everyone else, so his behavior has not been just a knee-jerk immediate reaction to being outed.

  Sure there are people stupid enough to believe any apology he might offer, but if you avoid taking responsibility once outed and then also double down and double down on your shit behavior for a full year, there's no way any apology is real. Anything he says now would be because he's suffering, not because he's made everyone else suffer.

  I would also say, prove it. Prove you're sorry by apologizing to your wife and Kim and the "defendants" of your stupid lawsuit, to the producers of that documentary that they need to scrap because they can't use any footage with you in it, and to the xJW community as a whole. Apologize to the prostitutes whose lives you made miserable by taking advantage of their slavery. Apologize to your daughters for abandoning their mother to care for them full-time. Apologize to everyone you've blocked for simply disagreeing with you.

  Then, show us how you've turned over a new leaf. You're on probation for a year; no arguing with critics, no attacking others, no criticizing news stories or protests just because you're not part of them. Oh, and no prostitutes.

  No way in hell he could ever live up to that so I call BS on any apology or statement he might offer at this point.
