That's one of Lloyd's problems; he thinks he's the first to put two and two together while everyone else in the world is a bumbling moron needing his wisdom and guidance. Like in his book, when he literally put in a footnote explaining "blue balls" ... as if he's the first person to experience sexual frustration, masturbation, etc., or to come across slang terms. Thank you Lloyd for explaining that to us stupid children out here!
He honestly thought his website and survey and book would blow the lid off the WT when so much of that work had already been done and guess what, his wise words of guidance didn't stop the GB in their tracks. They weren't interested in having the great Lloyd show them the error of their ways, and then make their changes while shaking his hand and thanking him for his guidance.
He's so in love with himself it's beyond his understanding that other people don't find him so amazingly smart and fascinating and he's such a child about the world he doesn't realize other people are already strides ahead of him. It's toddler mentality, just now discovering things and thinking he's the smartest in the room when he's actually the biggest baby.
