Let's not forget that 1) he admitted in his own livestream to everything being said about him so there's no lies, slander, etc. for any court to consider, and 2) this entire debacle came from him admitting to frequenting prostitutes, which is illegal in Croatia.

A case could also be made that he went to Thailand purposely to visit prostitutes, which makes it an international crime. (Believe it or not Lloyd, just because you say you didn't go there for the prostitution doesn't mean the courts will take your word for it. You're not the boss of the courts, and they're not so stupid so as to just believe someone's statement. "Oh, you didn't cross state lines just to buy guns illegally, despite the fact that you did actually buy guns illegally during the few days you were in the other state? You went for the beaches and food and shopping, and just happened to stumble upon an illegal gun seller while you were there? Good enough for me!")

Point being, Lloyd apparently wants people to think that he's going to go walk into a civil or criminal court and admit to doing something illegal, and the courts will be so impressed with what a bigshot he is that they'll overlook his crimes and go after the people just repeating what he himself admitted to.

Yes he thinks he's the smartest person in the room but this whole situation alone shows his levels of self-absorbed stupid. He really hasn't thought about the risk of showing up in court, only to end up in handcuffs? (I would sell my left nut to see that BTW.) He's like a crackhead calling the police because he doesn't like the quality of the crack someone just sold him.

It's obvious that he thinks everyone in the world is just like his stupid minions; if he keeps beating his chest while insisting everyone come 'round to his point of view, he'll be able to shout them down and win the argument.

As for that nonsensical letter sent out, remember that an attorney will often put just about anything on their letterhead or file the paperwork for any stupid thing if you pay them to do it. They don't give a flying crap about the merits of any supposed suit if they're getting paid upfront.

This is just my opinion but I think it's worse for Leah and Rinder to say nothing. If they publicly repudiated his conduct, that would make it harder for Scientology to pounce on them. By saying nothing, it's like they're turning a blind eye to something he was engaged in at the same time as when they had him on their studio's couch.

Plus it just makes them hypocrites, Leah's twitter bio literally says she's "intolerant of bullies, bullshit, and injustice." Well I call bullshit on that statement. They were warned that Lloyd was a complete bully but ignored those warnings. They literally had the biggest ex JW bully on their couch, showing off his book to their audience.

And where's the justice for victims of human trafficking, which only exists because people like Lloyd pay money for it to exist?

At least Andrew Gold had the balls to put out a video calling Lloyd out after having him on his show. Others have also kept up the pressure despite his few straggling minions still giving them shit.

Like I said, Leah and Rinder giving him a platform is part of what enables his bad behavior. Same with Hassan, Trey Bundy, and all the rest. They'll rub elbows with him if they think it gets them publicity, dismissing other people with concerns like they're stupid children, but then feigning ignorance when it turns out that yes, Lloyd is as much of a POS as everyone said.

However the decision was made, I'm sure we'll never know all the behind-the-scenes details. But according to its Wiki article, viewership was declining over its 3 seasons and they apparently didn't even crack a million viewers for the JW episode:

For what it's worth, I know it's not Leah's or Rinder's responsibility to always comment on everyone that's been even remotely associated with their work but I also think their silence is deafening. They're all ears when someone like Lloyd and people on twitter contact them to work together and potentially expand their audience but suddenly have nothing to say about his repeatedly cheating on his wife with prostitutes and seeing sex workers in Thailand, a place notorious for human trafficking.

Giving him a platform after they were warned he had a history of bad behavior just enabled it all the more, IMHO. Just like his few leftover followers, it's so hypocritical to call out JW or Scientology bad behavior but then ignore Lloyd's.

There were a lot of people tagging Leah and Rinder in tweets when this all went down but I don't remember seeing them addressing it. He also retweets them so they obviously haven't blocked him.

I can't agree that they wouldn't be aware, Remini said that the whole reason she brought JWs on for their own episode of Aftermath is because so many were tweeting her and begging for it, saying the religions are so similar. (Obviously she's tuned in to social media) She also did a phone interview with Lloyd after her show was cancelled so they were all in touch somehow after that one episode.

I'm thinking they probably don't care enough to respond. I heard there were a lot of people trying to warn them before the show itself about his bad behavior but... crickets, obviously.

I also can't remember Steve Hassan or Richard Kelly saying anything...?

If you're going to produce videos, you should angle the camera so that you don't have a huge dent in the frame every time. Or take some of that fancy equipment budget and patch it up. But either way, it's hugely distracting, like having a sink full of dirty dishes behind you.

I bring up his subs vs. views because we all know he's all about numbers, as if those prove anything (like with his patrons, how many have left vs. stayed). So the next time he crows about still having 104,000+ subscribers it can be pointed out that his views are nowhere near that number, more like 5500 to 6000 or so on average.

It's embarrassing to read Lloyd's IMDB page, with him touting his long-winded YouTube videos as if they're real documentaries and he's a legitimate filmmaker. It's so obvious that he wants to be a big shot, Michael Moore meets Steve Hassan meets Richard Dawkins meets Socrates, etc.

Now look at him, scrounging around with a pathetic few hundred patrons, a few thousand views on his current videos, and a few dozen engagements on twitter. Can't get a foot in the door with environmentalists, Mormons, atheists, or anyone else.

And it's all still going downhill, not gaining traction. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
