Blueblades Pacemaker Update.

well,to all who had wished me good health before i went for my procedure,thank you.

9/14 pacemaker was inserted below my collarbone successfully.check up will be 9/18.. so, since 2012 when i was 67,i had open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve with a bovine tissue valve.

now at 73, i have an implanted pacemaker with two leads,one for the upper chamber, right atrium and one for the lower right chamber,ventricle of the heart.. so, my heart beats should now be steady and not in and out of afib.. both of my brothers died of heart attacks.

I had quadruple bypass four years ago at 66 followed by 24 hours in ICU on potassium and magnesium drips to stabilise heart rate. All good now except I often wake up and lie still for half an hour while my heart sorts itself out. The human body is a remarkable thing.

GrreatTeacher....I don’t take statins and my doctor has no problem with that. My experience is that you have a heart attack or two and then you think there might be something wrong.

Before my operation I was up a ladder pruning a tree with a bow saw in the heat when I felt extremely tired and had to lie down. I was later told I had had two heart attacks including a “silent” one a week before.

I’m back pruning trees (with power tools now) but if I feel overly tired I go and lie down. I guess the thing is not to worry about it too much. Most of the time I feel really well so who knows.

for the last month or so i have been watching all of stuart’s xjdub videos on youtube.. thanks to local congo’s of jws he has now been arrested and apparently mistreated and had actually quite weird restrictions placed on him to keep him away from carts, khs etc., by a court in vancouver.. he was out it would seem the next day carrying on his “ministry”.

and successfully too.. i know his activities could be considered a little extreme at times, but i have felt encouraged by him and i wondered if anyone has any information on the whole situation..

The Jws called Caesars police to have Stuart arrested and told them that story without any proof. If it was true where is “Holy Spirit” to strengthen the sister. I can recall really unpleasant confrontations out in field service that didn’t lead to ptsd or whatever.

I don’t wish to be an apologist for his behaviour but I have watched all the videos and understand why he does what he does.

He does carry anti witnessing pamphlets and has many discussions with elders and others using the same arguments that many of us might use.

I was watching the John Ford picture “How Green Was My Valley” where the church minister faces the congregation and tells them that most of them are there out of fear and superstition, not love of God. Sometimes we have to tell it like it is and if it shakes people out of their complacency then that is too bad. The jws quite often do that when going door to door.

My concern was the apparent way he was treated after being arrested and the judgement handed down without,as he tells it, his being able to properly argue his case. Jws are quite happy to use “satan’s System” when it suits them, and in Australia at least to receive a full pension and subsidised housing even if they have never worked in their lives. Total hypocrites.

waton....all I have done so far is view his videos on YouTube. I also checked his Facebook page. I do not know how to post actual links but the following is some info.

XJDUB. 76 plus videos. A lot to watch and the more I watched I found that I could emphasise with him. He knows most of those he approaches on the carts as he was a regular pioneer in inner Vancouver.

a video I would recommend to anyone interested is number 37 starting at 15 minutes. Videos 75 and 76 document the police arrest and what followed.

Selloff update Melbourne Australia

i've posted this here so all visitors to this site can see info relating to the great expansion.. the kealba kingdom hall in st albans will be sold.

perhaps worth around au1.4 million dollars.

on two blocks of suburban land with off street parking.

I have posted this before but it deserves repeating. I live north of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. The Kingdom Hall in the local town, Caboolture, was sold about nine years ago.

Since then a large block of land was bought in a good position near the town.

A Kingdom Hall was promised about twelve months ago after the cash grab by the organisation which netted them over one million dollars from the two Congs who have an interest in this.

First we were promised a kh, then I left for good, then my still in wife, D, told me that the hall had been cancelled.

We bought a five acre “bush block” with a house on over thirty years ago and raised our three daughters here. We have grandchildren now and we look after chickens for one who is three years old and visits us us and her chickens and sits in the pen holding and playing with them to see that they are OK.

down the road from us is encroaching suburbia with three thousand houses being built.

This is a ramble were I am hoping that someone from Caboolture cong reads this and comes out to see me where I can reason with them on facts not emotion and perhaps wake them up. I have had elders and others out here before but got nowhere. I feel however that I am not doing so bad for someone with a diagnosed anxiety disorder. Are they afraid of me for some reason?

Sorry for the rant.

this interview in der spiegel is well worth your time.... peter piot was one of the scientists who discovered ebola in 1976. turns out it was the fault of catholic nuns who coldn't be bothered to sterilise the needles they were using to administer vitamins to pregnant women.. he describes the present outbreak as "a perfect storm" which could claim a frightening number of lives in africa and india.

he doesn't see it as a serious threat to countries with a modern health care system.. "i still remember exactly: one day in september, a pilot from sabena airlines brought us a shiny blue thermos and a letter from a doctor in kinshasa in what was then zaire...".
