  has anyone watched the videos for children on jw.org?

  i feel sick.. in one video a little girl dreams about paradise: the blind can see again, the deaf can hear again, and of course, she gets to hug a cute little panda cub.

  not until the end of the video is her wheelchair revealed.

  people stay jehovah's witnesses for several reasons.

  the foremost is because they are taught that they could cheat death and not have to die or even better yet not have to get old.

  the second is they can see their dead relatives again , who have a direct pass to paradise, and that we must obey to get there to see them in the resurrection.

If you ask a JW drone about the impossibility that this image represents in the real world of nature, they will just give you a blank stare and say the usual " Jehovah can make anything happen" he's all powerful, all knowing. .blah blah blah....

  I speak of southern Europe. Where families are generally very close. Nobody condones beating a child but spank in the bum once in a while is very normal there. No big deal.

  All I'm saying is that different cultures see this issue differently. You can raise happy successful children whether they get a spanking or not. In my back round (European) growing up it was quite normal for parents to hit their kids. All our parents are now old and all the families are together and generally very close, happy and successful. The issue is just not the same formula for the entire planet.

  This is physiological bable! Children today are more spoiled and disrespectful to parents and authority more than ever. This no spanking thing is not working. I've witnessed it many times with friends of mine.

  I remember when RGC came out. Studying that book in any logical way was impossible. It gave me a headache! I would just get spaced out and think of having my own Grand Climax with a hot sister in my book study group. Lol. I was a teen after all.
